My analysis of the election results and where we go from here. If our community is upset, it's our responsibility to do something about it. In addition to organizing how we'll protect ourselves over the next four years, we need to find and support candidates we are excited to get behind in every election. We need to mobilize the troops to campaign and vote before the primary. We dropped the ball way before yesterday. We have plenty of resources and time and no excuse. Let's learn from this. The time is now!

Now, we've got a situation in this new beautiful bill that says the IRS will get extended powers to audit small businesses for up to nine years that took the ERC. That’s going to cause chaos in valuations if you have that hanging over your head, it almost seems unfair and un-American to do that to small business. I'm heading down to the Hill to get a gong and walk down the halls banging it, saying, "What are you guys doing here?" You can't do that to small business.

We are heartbroken by the passing of Jesse Jackson — a towering icon of the Civil Rights Movement and a dear friend. From marching with Martin Luther King Jr. to founding the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and running historic presidential campaigns, Reverend Jackson never stopped pushing America to live up to its promise. He empowered millions to declare, “I am somebody,” and expanded the path for leaders of color in politics and public life. His legacy is woven into every advancement in voting rights and economic justice over the last half-century. We mourn this tremendous loss, but we celebrate a life lived in service. Rest well, my friend. We will continue the fight — and we will keep hope alive.

We lost our jobs. Over the last few weeks, we've felt a lot of emotions, from sad about missing our listeners and buds at the office, to excited about what the future might hold.
