White House officials told AP this includes organizations “whose work is tied to illegal immigration and foreign terrorist groups” (a label the administration has frequently applied to Palestinian advocacy and humanitarian organizations). The move aligns with broader efforts to penalize critics of Israel, including revoking visas for foreign students who support Palestinian rights and canceling federal grants for universities that fail to suppress pro-Palestinian advocacy. The PSLF program, established in 2007, forgives federal student loans for government and nonprofit employees after 10 years of qualifying payments.
