Daytona 500 winning crew chief Billy Scott when asked if there's a way to fix mass fuel saving on superspeedways: "I doubt there's a fix to it, because we're just gonna figure out the next way to exploit it. ... It'd be like asking you to change how chess is played." Denny Hamlin adds that there IS a way to fix it, but it involves NASCAR increasing speeds to make handling matter more and spread the field out. "As long as (NASCAR's) insurance company's okay with it, you're gonna have to speed up the cars." Suggested letting teams come up with a superspeedway package and trying it out at the Clash next year. (h/t Alan Cavanna )

A blind spot of the modern world is the way we prioritize the left side of the brain over the right side. The left brain dissects reality. It breaks it apart and analyzes each piece.
