They taught on zoom for two years and now they want more money? Grades are down, test scores are down, attendance is down… and they want more money. They’re nuts.
It's not like the strike is going to affect their test scores

The teachers aren’t the ones striking. It’s the low paid workers. Custodians, bus drivers, The people who serve lunches etc. The teachers are staying out because they won’t cross a picket line & are showing solidarity with the staff members.

It’s kind of sad that they don’t display this type of passion over the fact that less than 36% of black kids can read at grade level or that half drop out of high school.

3 days of parents scrambling to figure what to do with their kids while they are home. I am sure older grades teachers could give some good homework to keep them busy
