Law and order in Karnataka has become a thing of the past since Congress took over the state. Appeasement politics is on the rise, giving radicals a free rein to pelt stones at police stations, burn them down, attack police personnel, and ransack police vehicles. Despite these incidents, the CM of Karnataka comes out blaming the police personnel. Can appeasement get any worse? Karnataka, once an hub of investors, is now a safe haven for terrorists, drug addicts, and the corrupts. While the state is in such disarray, the government seems more concerned about who writes what on Twitter and sends police to arrest those civilians. Our protest was not just for ourselves, but for justice, transparency, corruption and accountability in our examination system. A heavy contingent of masked and hooded police has been deployed at Villa Police Station to facilitate forced evictions in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, despite the existence of a valid court order stopping any such actions. This blatant disregard for the rule of law undermines justice, constitutionalism and the rights of affected communities. Court orders must be respected and security agencies should protect citizens, not violate their rights. Nicolás Maduro was not a good guy. His brand of socialism and authoritarian rule devastated Venezuela and crushed democratic institutions. There’s no serious argument that the country is better off under his leadership. Venezuela deserves democracy. But believing that does not mean the US gets to break international law, ignore Congress, and unilaterally overthrow the government of a sovereign nation to “police the world.” So a simple question for MAGA: Are you still against regime change and endless U.S. intervention abroad, or was that principle only convenient before Trump did it? You don’t get to oppose imperial overreach in theory and cheer it in practice when your guy is the one pulling the trigger.

A few hooligans hired by Telangana Youth Congress forcibly tried entering the BJP State Office in Hyderabad, throwing stones and bricks. They tried breaking into the office through the main gate. Vigilant BJP karyakartas, including our Mahila karyakartas, courageously formed a human shield to stop these hooligans despite sustaining severe injuries. Allahu Akbar slogans in Karnataka now Back to back cases of Islamist mobs hitting the streets, be it in Pune with “Allahu Akbar” slogans or in Bhopal with “Sar Tan se Juda” over a Love Jihad case. Now this case has come to light from Bhatkal, Karnataka. A Muslim mob attacked police and pelted stones after tensions over a small Hindu shrine (Murin kaṭṭe). During highway construction, a Hindu shrine was demolished, which was later rebuilt by Hindus after permission from highway authorities. Shockingly, it was again demolished, this time by an Islamist mob. When police arrived to maintain order, they too came under attack. The mob pelted stones at them and chanted slogans.

I strongly condemn the violent attack on BMC Additional Commissioner Shri Ratnakar Sahoo by a group of supporters of a political party at the BMC office today. When I came face to face with the attackers soon after the incident, they further threatened to attack our officials. They did not even spare the lady Corporators who tried to come to Shri Sahoo’s rescue. This is nothing but goondaism. I urge COMMISSIONERATE POLICE to act upon the complaint lodged by Shri Sahoo with the Kharavela Nagar Police Station and take prompt action against all the culprits to help restore confidence of our employees and people's faith in the rule of law.
