In a press conference on Monday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said President Trump "appears to have chickened out on the Epstein scandal," adding that the Democrats would work to expose anyone involved with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. "The survivors and the American people deserve full and complete transparency," Jeffries said. GOP leaders in the House plan to hold a vote Tuesday on legislation to force the full release of the Justice Department's files on Epstein. In a reversal on Friday, President Trump said House Republicans should vote to release the files, a move he had previously opposed, at times calling the Epstein scandal a 'Democrat hoax.'
