I’ve been a vim/neovim user since 2010 and evolved my config a lot in that time. Love the look and feel of kickstart. Honestly though I hate code as configuration and think the pivot to Lua is kinda gross.

Compared to what tho? Vim has always had configuration as code.

Is there a straightforward way to tell lazy to use an internal mirror instead of github dot com as the default location to pull plugins from?

ya, you can do { git = { url_format = ... } } or something like that
