I really did. But this record has finished as my album of the year by a wide margin. Boundaries is yet another band that I’ve seen grow over the years from a little Connecticut band, to now being on some MASSIVE tours. They are a band essentially built for me. Their breakthrough to me, was 2022’s “Burying Brightness.” That was their spring board that really helped them find their sound. And after they learned to walk, THIS album has them SPRINTING. This is one of the most aggressive records of the year, and it’s admirable but what I love most is the touches of melody they have now spread throughout the record. Songs like Easily Erased and Scars on a Soul are two that feel like they could have been standard boundaries song, but those small touches thrown in have made them into masterpieces. Blames Burden featuring Markus Vik from Invent Animate sees the band taking a somewhat new direction too, and really comes with a surprise left hook towards the end of this album, just when you thought you had it figured out. The classic Boundaries sound, combined with these new touches have made for an outstanding album worthy of being worn like a badge of honor by the members of this band.

To further enunciate our plans for the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMI) in Lagos, let me further clarify the approval we secured from the Federal Executive Council Meeting last week. 1. There are two international terminals in Lagos. Terminal One is that old building directly facing the long stretch of road leading to the airport built & commissioned in 1979 by the Obasanjo-led Military regime. It has two wings known as WING D and WING E. Terminal Two is the new building on the right-hand side as you drive into the airport, started by President Jonathan’s govt. with a Chinese loan, completed during President Buhari’s govt (with the loan) & made operational during President Tinubu’s first one month in office. 2. Due to years of neglect & because the traffic over time quadrupled beyond its capacity, the building & facilities at Terminal One became totally decrepit. We have been engaged in some patch jobs over the years just to make it a bit presentable. Now, shorn of all the rhetoric, what we simply want to do is to totally strip down that building, including the entire roof (leaving only the carcass), then re-design/reconfigure it & build a brand-new airport for the nation to meet modern, international standards that can also cater for the increased traffic. Both wings D and E would be affected. 3. As for the new Terminal (Two), we got approval to expand the building and the Apron (where aircraft park for boarding and disembarkation) in order to accommodate more aircraft, including wide-body aircraft. That is not all; we are constructing two new independent ring roads in and out of the airport (one for departure and one for arrival) and a bridge that will take travellers directly to the upper floor of Terminal Two Departure lounge, instead of lifting our luggage up the escalators when we are departing. It is a design error we intend to correct. 4. We have also introduced smart solutions to the new designs in order to deliver a smart airport to Nigerians that can compete with any airport in the world. 5. In all, Nigerians will be proud of what we are going to deliver. And take note, this will not be done by a loan from anywhere, but by the Renewed Hope infrastructure Development Fund, which is one of the gains made from the removal of subsidies. 6. As the work progresses, we will be inviting the Press, Civil Society groups, members of the National Assembly and interested Nigerians on regular tours of the facility to monitor the extent and quality of work. It is part of our national heritage and we should all rightly be interested in the final outcome. 7. I will also encourage our compatriots to simply google the cost of most modern airports built around the world in the last few years (including those in Africa like Angola, etc) and you will agree with me that the Bureau for Public Procurement that scrutinised and fixed the final cost of this project did a fantastic job for the nation. 7. And as a final word, it is important to tell Nigerians that we also have brand new Terminals in Kano, Abuja & Port-Harcourt. However, presently, they are all underutilised due to the traffic that is less than thirty percent of their capacities. 8. For further explanation and transparency, we have produced a video (which I attach hereunder) that graphically explains the proposed works upon which we are embarking. I hope you find it useful. WAQF (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2024 My Enthusiasm: The British enacted the Mussalman Wakf Act, 1923 for the better management of wakf property and for ensuring the keeping and publication of proper accounts in respect of such properties. After independence, the Waqf Act, 1954 was enacted but the earlier Act was not repealed. In 1995 a new Waqf Act was enacted repealing the 1954 Act. There was not any significant difference between the Acts of 1954 and 1995, as the latter was essentially a consolidation of several State amendments and judicial pronouncements. In March 2005 the UPA Government headed by Manmohan Singh appointed a seven-member high-level committee which was headed by Rajinder Sachar, a former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, with Sayyid Hamid, M.A. Basith, Akhtar Majeed, Abu Saleh Shariff, T.K. Oommen and Rakesh Basant as its members. It is popularly known as the Sachar Committee. Based on one of the recommendations of the Sachar Committee, the UPA Government introduced the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2013 to amend the Waqf Act, 1995. It must be noted that the BJP enthusiastically supported the Bill and voted for it in Parliament. Consequent to the amendment, the Waqf Act became one most of draconian laws that India has ever enacted whereby any property can be unilaterally claimed by Muslims as waqf, and its owners can be disposed of it. It has been widely reported that the Muslims have been claiming villages after villages as wakf properties and thereby creating havoc. Therefore, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 introduced in Parliament by the RSS-BJP-Modi Government is a welcome step, and I wholeheartedly endorse it. The Bill has since been referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee headed by former CM of UP Jagadambika Pal. I sincerely hope and wish that it becomes an Act sooner than later. My Skepticism: A large number of Hindu refugees from Pakistan and Bangladesh who escaped to ‘Hindu India’ and their progeny, are not only HINOs (Hindus In name Only) but they are virulently Anti-Hindu and Pro-Muslim. They are worse than the Islamic Jihadis as they camouflage as Hindus while working for Islam. Rajinder Sachar’s family too came from West Pakistan to ‘Hindu India’ to escape religious persecution by Muslims. Yet, his ideological proclivities were mostly Anti-Hindu and Pro-Muslim. Therefore, it would be apt to categorise him as a Crypto-Muslim. Sachar Committee submitted its Pro-Muslim, nay Anti-Hindu, Report in November, 2016. Its reading would reveal that the demands of the Muslim League prior to independence that led to partition of India, would pale before the recommendations of Sachar Committee. It is not an exaggeration to say that the Sachar Committee has planted seeds for the 2nd partition of India, nay fast-tracking of Islamisation of India. Out of 76 recommendations of Sachar Committee, the Government accepted 72, rejected 3 and deferred 1. Most State Governments, including all the RSS-BJP State Governments as well as the Gujarat State Government headed by Narendra Modi as CM, have vigorously implemented and been implementing the Sachar Committee recommendations since 2017 onwards. Yet, the RSS-BJP never missed an opportunity to publicly criticise the Sachar Committee Report to fool gullible Hindus. After 6 years of vigorous implementation of the recommendations of Sachar Committee and favouring Muslims as their daamads (sons-in-law) in every which way by (mis)using secular public funds, and just before General Elections to Lok Sabha which were due in 2014, in August 2013 the Narendra Modi headed Gujarat State Government challenged its constitutional validity in Supreme Court again to fool gullible Hindus. The RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government has been implementing the Sachar Committee Report with the fervour of a new convert to Islam. Consequently, #Minority_Appeasement in the past 10 years of RSS-BJP-Modi rule has reached Himalayan heights putting all other parties to shame. Further, in the past 10 years, with the zeal of a Jihadi the RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government has been vigorously enforcing the draconian provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2013 which were incorporated into the Waqf Act, 1995 with the proactive support of BJP in Parliament👇. As a result, the number of immovable properties held/claimed by the Waqf Boards skyrocketed to humongous 8.7 lakhs. A Google search says that Waqf Boards are the 3rd largest land holders in India after the Government and the Christian Church. The credit for this notoriety goes entirely to the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi. With a lot of pomposity the RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government introduced the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in Parliament on 20-12-2021. I welcomed it except for the proposal to increase age of marriage. It was referred to a Select Committee headed by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, and it is not known whether it gave any report. However, due to Muslim pressure the RSS-BJP-Modi deliberately delayed its passing as a result the Bill lapsed due to the dissolution of 17th Lok Sabha. Thus they gave a quiet burial to an important Bill that sought to reform marriage of all religious communities which would have a bearing on the differential growth rates of population. Given the unsavoury background and the Pro-Muslim and Anti-Hindu penchants of the RSS-BJP-Modi, I do not see much hope of the Wakf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 becoming a law. With a lot of pomposity the RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government introduced the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in Parliament on 20-12-2021. I welcomed it except for the proposal to increase age of marriage. It was referred to a Select Committee headed by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, and it is not known whether it gave any report. However, due to Muslim pressure the RSS-BJP-Modi deliberately delayed its passing as a result the Bill lapsed due to the dissolution of 17th Lok Sabha. Thus they gave a quiet burial to an important Bill that sought to reform marriage of all religious communities which would have a bearing on the differential growth rates of population. Given the unsavoury background and the Pro-Muslim and Anti-Hindu penchants of the RSS-BJP-Modi, I do not see much hope of the Wakf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 becoming a law. A few days ago, an Aye teacher in an adult school in Makurdi got a tip from his Vikings student about a planned attack in Wadata or North Bank. The teacher warned his group, but while some took it seriously, others ignored it. (3 videos posted on Telgrm - link in comments section). Yesterday, Vikings attacked first, k!ll!ng two Ayes, Black 7 and Spider, at the Wadata riverbank (first video). Spider was a well-known Aye. In response, Aye launched attacks today, leading to more de@ths. The situation is now very tense, with both sides on high alert. The video we posted earlier (second video) was labeled “unconfirmed report.” We will not call the men in that video Ayes because we don’t know their names. Vikings claim they are NBK/Aye, but we won’t call them cultists without proof. Our goal is to avoid misidentifying innocent people. Once we verify their identities, we will update the NC house to confirm whether they are truly Ayes or Vikings or non-cultists. While Ayes were rolling, they unexpectedly saw Zico T, a former Vikings leader, and k!lled him. They later attacked some alleged Vikings (third video), but we can only confirm one victim, Oyi Tramol, as a Vikings member. Destiny 2 left a permanent mark on my life. The memories I’ve made with this game, both as a player and as someone lucky enough to work on it, will forever stay with me. Not just because of late nights running King’s Fall with friends, or grinding out the Crucible Glorious Seal in solo queue like a complete maniac, but because Destiny 2 challenged me, shaped me, and pushed me toward becoming the creative I am today. My journey into digital art and photography started back in 2007, when I began taking screenshots in Halo 3 and entering Bungie community art contests. The relationships I built during that time eventually opened the door to an opportunity with Bungie’s Gameplay Capture team in 2014, helping the team capture footage for a new game called Destiny. I had no idea then that a commendably short two-week contract would turn into an incredible 12-year journey with this franchise. I originally came to Bungie hoping to pursue environmental concept art, but along the way I had the opportunity to work on marketing art and quickly fell in love with it. Creating marketing art for a franchise like Destiny challenged me in so many different ways. It forced me to expand my technical, creative, and communication skill sets, constantly adapt, and keep learning new tools and workflows just to keep pace with the live-service beast that was Destiny 2. It means a lot to be able to look back and say with confidence that I had a visual impact on Destiny 2; but the most meaningful part of it all was getting to work alongside and learn from so many incredible artists at Bungie, and seeing firsthand just how much care, effort, and humanity it takes to make work like this possible. It’s hard to fully capture how much energy, skill, and collaboration goes into every visual part of a game like Destiny 2. That work is shaped by artists from different backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, and perspectives. Each of them, including me, left a small part of themselves in what they created. To me, that’s what makes a game like Destiny 2 feel truly meaningful and memorable. Especially now, in a world increasingly saturated with content and driven by instant output and gratification through AI, I keep coming back to the value of process. For me, and for so many of my peers, it was never only about arriving at the final image. It was about the journey it took to get there. The late nights. The iteration. The problem-solving. The trust. The shared pursuit of trying to make something special. To my peers, I’m deeply proud of what we built together, but even more grateful for how we built it. We challenged each other, inspired each other, and kept showing up for one another through every high and low, as Destiny 2 has had many. That kind of shared effort leaves a lasting mark. What we made mattered. What we gave mattered. And the impact of what we built together will stay with us, and this community, for a long time. Shoutout to the current and former members of Creative Studios, the VizD team, and the many Bungie developers and marketers who helped shape this chapter of my life. I’m especially grateful to the teammates who believed in me, encouraged me to embrace failure and new beginnings as essential parts of artistic growth, and pushed me to take on challenges even when they felt beyond my reach. You showed me that the strength of a team will always surpass that of any individual hero. Unless I'm mistaken, the article about Louisburgh councillor Chris Maxwell questioning whether the COVID vaccines are causing cancer in Mayo News yesterday is a major moment in Irish history. I have emailed Chris thanking him for bringing this up and I have told him that many of us are here to help when this finally comes out in the wash.
