I found the opening introduction of the villain to be slightly rushed and the revolutionary’s hyper-sexuality a tad try hard for my taste but boy oh boy does the rest of the film not disappoint. They hit every note - reactionaries, liberals, guerrilla warfare, treason, purpose, larp and parenthood with incredible literacy and sophisticated writing. It’s the opposite of tone death, it’s a mirror. 9.5/10
