“Le Freak” by Chic — Disco at its most unapologetically precise.

After being turned away at the door of Studio 54, Chic responded by setting the world's dance floors on fire. With Le Freak, they turned a moment of frustration into the most precise and elegant Disco anthem in history. 💃✨ 🤔 Fun Fact: The original lyrics didn't say "Le Freak, c'est chic," but a much more blunt expression of dismissal aimed directly at the bouncer who barred them on New Year's Eve. Nile Rodgers used his iconic Fender guitar to turn that frustration into the best-selling riff of the era. 🎤🔥 Did you know? 🤯
