Leaders must take responsibility for their words and actions. Disagreeing on something doesn't mean someone is evil or less of an American, and rhetoric like that is fueling violence that has no place in our country. Even if you disagree with me, you're still my neighbor.

So now Andy Beshear finally speaks up about the FBI investigating the political assassination of Rep. Melissa Hortman and what does he say? “We still need to be neighborly.” Neighborly?! Are you out of your mind? It took him days to even acknowledge it—and now that the heat’s on and the FBI is pointing fingers at a Democrat governor, he wants to play the unity card like it’s bingo night at the church picnic? Let’s be real: The Left is the party of violence. They’ve normalized chaos, political intimidation, and now targeted hits for power. And Andy wants us to hold hands and pretend we’re all in this together? Nah. We’re not interested in being “neighborly” with people who burn cities, bully voters, and treat political enemies like obstacles to eliminate. That’s not unity…. that’s gaslighting. Senator John Kennedy perfectly encapsulates what is fueling the tidal wave of violence coming from the radical left. There’s no more room for disagreement or public debate. It becomes a zero-sum game...where radicals take it upon themselves to act. This country must UNITE. It’s not right versus left or black versus white. It has become everyone versus evil. Someone who voted democrat isn’t evil for voting left. Someone who voted republican isn’t evil for voting right. We have a bipartisan issue here and it is violence. I feel very strongly about our safety and am trying to get that message out to all 70,000 of you who follow expecting to hear it. Please take actions to keep yourself and family safe.

But it was the anti-immigrant rhetoric of Prop. 187 in 1994 that first launched me into politics. Now we are witnessing the same level of xenophobia from the White House, and it is fueling a level of extremism, cruelty and disregard for due process that has no place in our country.
