Leafs fans amirite??

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc I think it’s because as leaf fans the bruins are our arch enemy and want to beat them every time but still no reason to boo our team

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc You’re right. There were a lot of garbage reactions to last nights loss. Maybe they weren’t giving fans their candy at Scotiabank last night

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc You are. I don't think they played particularly well last night but as you mentioned, they've been hot otherwise. You've been part of the organization though, so you know this is also sadly "normal" behaviour for some fans.

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc Spot on Rosey! I think the majority of Leafs fans (especially in TO) don’t get it. I live 3,000 miles away and I’d die to go to a game. Been a fan for 20+ years. I get being frustrated, but we’re a top 10 team playing well! The fans that boo are ungrateful. You saw a loss? Boohoo

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc Totally get what you’re saying. But It’s because it’s against Boston. THE most hated team amongst every Leafs fan. More fired up emotion when playing those guys IMO. If it was versus Carolina, I don’t think they get that same reaction IMO.

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc Sometimes they just don’t play like they need to win. It’s frustrating! Especially if you paid to see it live. You’re talking about a fan base that has seen a third round in decades. Difference is if my food is shitty….i get my money back. Imagine if MLSE had that in place. 🤷

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc It’s not just a dropped game. It was cause of who it was against. There’s no other team I want to beat more than Boston so to get killed (on the scoreboard) was a real let down. Also, if I go to the most expensive restaurant and the food wasn’t good, I’ll let my waitress know

@thegoldenmuzzy @TLNdc Maybe it's because, no matter how hard they try, the Leafs CAN'T beat the Bruins when it counts. 6 straight losses( 7 coming soon probably )vs the B's, their tormentors for over a decade now. Leafs might be a good team EXCEPT when they play the Bruins & that's why fans are upset.
