(Leak) Gameplay of Predator Bugs on Omicron #Helldivers2 Upon death, they explode into a cloud of spores, which stuns everything around them and can deal a small amount of damage. The "Spore Burst" terminids are a part of the predator strain, which appears on planets in the gloom.

oh man that is going to be horrible, getting slowed down already is bad but when every enemy does it on death on top of damaging you a lot of people are going to die Hopefully there are some new weapons or armour coming to help

I thought this was a gloom strain? Did they get renamed to the predator strain? If so what’s the other one called?

The bugs seen in the gloom are the predator strain :) Those being, "spore burst" terminids. Predator Strain = Spore Burst Hope that clears things up a bit better

Would be cool if the Ballistic Shield counters that effect since it would receive the full explosion and protects the Helldivers wielding it

If you're having trouble with the spore faction you should give the Torcher a try with heavy armor and a Warp Pack. They don't burst into spores if they're burning when they die, so it just turns them into normal bugs. Extremely fun strain, made my switch up my loadout.

"It Ain't No Man" Billy first senses the Predator after the attack on the guerrilla camp. However, this is not the result of a "sixth sense" or heightened state of awareness, which Billy demonstrates in a later segment. Rather, Billy hears the Predator mimic his own laugh that he had shared with Hawkins a few seconds before. If you listen closely, you will hear the Predator attempt to mimic the laugh somewhat quietly, which unnerves Billy immediately, causing him to look up toward the trees. Film: Predator (1987)
