CSS variables are live and they are POWERFUL. Now Live on Product Hunt ๐Ÿš€ โžก๏ธ Create a design system "So you can stay consistent and build much quicker." Define global styles like colors, gradients, sizes, and box shadows. โžก๏ธ Use your variables everywhere "So you never have to manually enter a border color again." You're not limited to just sizes, colors, and font families. Use variables in gradients, box shadows, transforms, and more! โžก๏ธ Start with libraries like Open Props, expertly crafted CSS variables "So you can use a tried and true system, and so we can standardize our Projects." Because there are no abstractions, you can use existing CSS variable libraries like Open Props, an expertly crafted library of CSS variables, and the recommended starting point in Webstudio. โžก๏ธ Create complex micro-interactions "So when you hover a link, you can change any children's styles." CSS variables go beyond reusability! You can define variables anywhere in the navigator, such as on a link, and modify the variables on hover. Then, you can use those variables on the children to create complex micro-interactions! โžก๏ธ Design and build simultaneously "So when deciding that perfect border color, you can arrow through all your options." Experimenting on the canvas just got a whole lot better. Now, you can arrow through your variables and see them rendered on the canvas to see which works best. โžก๏ธ Change variable by breakpoint "So you can make the variables look great, no matter the screen size." CSS variables in Webstudio use the same UI as the rest of your styles, enabling breakpoints to work the same way. โœจ Building with design systems gives a HUGE boost in speed, consistency, and maintainability.

The moral obligation of great design: A call to arms by @ThisIsBobBaxley Bob has designed products used by billions of people over his 35-year career at Apple, Pinterest, Yahoo, and ThoughtSpot. During his eight years at Apple, he led design for the online store and the App Store, and witnessed the iPhoneโ€™s transformative launch while working under Steve Jobs. Bob champions the obligation designers have to reduce frustration in peopleโ€™s daily lives. "I don't think many people working in the industry understand the scale of what they're doing. Software, both for the audience and for the creators, is an anonymous medium. The products we're building are just these crazy, faceless things created by a bunch of people, you know, who knows where. We never see anybody on the other side of the glass. It's very hard to really understand that we're creating something in Figma on their computer that's going to be interacted with by billions of people, thousands and thousands of times. People don't want to try to figure out how to navigate our login screens or go through our onboarding process. They just wanna get home and spend time with their families and pet their dogs and have a nice dinner." Bob also has some other spicy takes: ๐Ÿ”ธ Why design should report to engineering, not product ๐Ÿ”ธ The โ€œBeatles principleโ€โ€”why the best products come from teams of 4 to 6, not 40 to 60 ๐Ÿ”ธ Why you need design tenets, not principles (with real examples) ๐Ÿ”ธ Why you should delay sketching and prototyping as long as possible ๐Ÿ”ธ Why software is fundamentally a medium, like film or music ๐Ÿ”ธ Much more Listen now ๐Ÿ‘‡ โ€ข YouTube: โ€ข Spotify: โ€ข Apple: ๐Ÿ† This entire episode is brought to you by Stripeโ€”helping companies of all sizes grow revenue:

consistency โ‰  uniformity: for those who haven't lived through this era โ€“ we used to have beautiful, precision interfaces. now they're replaced by a design language that originated from the Apple Watch, with icons that only fit in squircles. but that's not even the point. the point is we used to design the whole stack โ€“ the technology, the concepts, the interfaces. when designers only care about superficial consistency, platforms lose their uniqueness. apple used to design systems. skeuomorphism wasn't just about leather textures โ€“ it was about teaching people new mental models. the trash can empties because you understand what a trash can does. aqua's lickable buttons and sheets had depth because the OS had layers you could understand. the old apple designed the whole stack โ€“ from metal to pixels to concepts. teams weren't just shipping features in the same box, they were building coherent platforms each with opinions about what computing should feel like for the medium. liquid glass is fine on a phone. but on macOS it's unusable โ€“ lack of precision, visual noise everywhere. this is what happens when UI language designed for fingers bleed into macOS. we went from interfaces designed for a 27" cinema display with a precise cursor to interfaces designed for a 1.5" screen you tap with one finger. the Mac is for creation and precision work. it needs information density. it needs chrome you can grab. it needs UI that gets out of your way but gives you power when you need it. instead we got padding and whitespace and translucent blurs optimized for touch targets nobody's touching. the squircle icon mandate is a symptom. when you force every icon into the same shape, you're saying "brand consistency" matters more than "each app icon needs to communicate its function instantly." we traded clarity for uniformity. we traded precise design for cross-platform sameness. consistency means your system has coherent rules within itself. uniformity means everything looks the same regardless of context. the hardware team still gets it โ€“ that macbook pro + M-series chips, chef's kiss. but software design feels like it's chasing fat fingers instead of remembering what people do on a Mac.

Google just STOLE Apple away from OpenAI... And it might decide who wins the AI race. Apple announced a multi-year $1 billion deal with Google to power the next generation of Siri using Gemini AI. Not ChatGPT. Gemini. This is the same Apple that 18 months ago announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into iPhones. Everyone thought that meant OpenAI won. Turns out it was an audition. And OpenAI failed. Here's why: June 2024: Apple announces OpenAI partnership. Sam Altman tweets: "very happy to be partnering with apple." Media declares OpenAI the winner of the AI race. December 2025: Sam Altman issues "code red" at OpenAI. Tells everyone to pause everything and ship ChatGPT 5.2 faster. Why the panic? Google released Gemini 3 and it was actually good. January 2026: Apple picks Google. ChatGPT stays as an "optional feature" for complicated queries. But Gemini becomes the DEFAULT intelligence layer for 2 billion Apple devices. The financial reality: Apple pays OpenAI $0 But Apple pays Google $1 BILLION per year That's a verdict. The excuse OpenAI gave for why they did it for free was "exposure to millions of iPhone users." Which basically means "we couldn't negotiate worth shit." Meanwhile Google walked away with both the money AND the distribution. Why Google won: Infrastructure ownership. OpenAI runs on Microsoft's Azure cloud. That creates a dependency chain: Apple โ†’ OpenAI โ†’ Microsoft. 3 companies. 3 points of failure. Google owns its entire stack. One relationship. Zero middlemen. Apple's statement said Google's technology provides "the most capable foundation." Not "most innovative." Not "best partner." Most CAPABLE. In other words, OpenAI's tech couldn't handle the scale. The Alphabet boost: Google's stock hit $4 trillion market cap after the announcement. Up 65% in 2024 on AI momentum alone. This deal validates Google's pivot from "search company" to "AI infrastructure company." Now they power Samsung's Galaxy AI AND Apple's Siri. Billions of mobile devices running on Gemini. OpenAI's big problem here: Still no profit. Ever. Anthropic is stealing enterprise customers. DeepSeek launched a price war forcing ChatGPT to cut prices. GPT-5 was overhyped and underwhelming. Circular financing deals are getting scrutinized. And now Apple just downgraded them from partner to backup option. That "code red" in December? Too little, too late. The reality everyone's missing: This isn't about chatbot quality. It's about who owns the infrastructure to power billions of devices. Google proved it with Samsung. Now Apple. OpenAI proved it can build a viral product but can't scale it profitably. Very different skill sets. Elon called it "unreasonable concentration of power for Google." He's right. But that's exactly why Apple chose them. Apple doesn't want a startup partner. They want a utility provider. Google is now the default AI for Android AND iOS. OpenAI is relegated to opt-in queries for people who specifically request ChatGPT. That's the difference between infrastructure and feature. The next 12 months: Apple launches Gemini-powered Siri in spring 2026. If it works, every iPhone user defaults to Google's AI. ChatGPT becomes the thing people use when Siri can't answer. The backup plan. My takeaway for entrepreneurs watching this: Distribution beats innovation. Google didn't necessarily build a better chatbot. They built better infrastructure and negotiated better terms. OpenAI won the hype race. Google won the business war. What do you think can save OpenAI now?

Davide Asnaghi (Davide Asnaghi) is the co-founder and CEO of Diode Computers, Inc., a Brooklyn-based startup using AI to design and manufacture circuit boards in the United States. Before Diode, Davide worked on Appleโ€™s Special Projects Group and spent time in Hong Kong and Shenzhen studying Asiaโ€™s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. That experience convinced him that PCB design, despite powering everything from smartphones and satellites to medical devices and autonomous systems, remained one of the most overlooked layers of the tech stack. Since its founding just two years ago, Diode has landed Physical Intelligence and Saronic as customers and partnered with Anthropic to help Claude become a better electrical engineer. The companyโ€™s ultimate ambition: to make hardware as nimble as software. In our conversation, we explore: 1. Jordan Golson has a great read on 5-year partnership between LoveFrom and Ferrari for its first EV: โ–ซ๏ธIt began in 2021 and before Jony Ive or Marc Newson โ€œdrew a single line, they spent six months on research.โ€ โ–ซ๏ธResearch led to 4 hardcover books, that were โ€œsubstantial, rigorous volumes printed in both Italian and English, left page and right page, covering philosophy, design history, the cultural significance of Ferrari within Italy, the relationship between human attention and physical interaction." โ–ซ๏ธIn an incredible coincidence, Benedetto Vigna became Ferrariโ€™s CEO in 2021 (he is a physicist who invented the "three-axis accelerometer that ended up inside the iPhone"). โ–ซ๏ธLoveFrom has spent past 2.5 years manufacturing components for the carโ€™s interior (including 40+ custom glass pieces in collaboration with Corning, which Steve Jobs had convinced to commercialize Gorilla Glass for the first iPhone). โ–ซ๏ธIve felt too many new cars has taken the minimalist iPhone touchscreen to the interiors and wanted to find a way to blend tactile knobs with digital. โ–ซ๏ธOne of the most striking things from Ferrari Luceโ€™s launch video is the Ferrari key fob that goes next to the stick shift and lights up the car. โ–ซ๏ธIve wanted the key fob to create "theatre" with how the vehicle turned on (as Golson notes, "Electric cars fundamentally lack the ritual of starting up. Thereโ€™s no engine turning over, no rumble settling into an idle, no mechanical systems awakening. The Luceโ€™s key ceremony isnโ€™t trying to fake that โ€” itโ€™s creating a new version of it, native to what this car is.") โ–ซ๏ธThe end product we saw last week โ€œbarely at allโ€ changed from the proposal in those original 4 books (Ferrari will unveil full exterior in May). It's not clear how much Ferrari is paying for the partnership but previous NYT reporting said top-tier clients at LoveFrom (team of 60 including tons of ex-Apple designers, UX, software folk) spend up to $200m a year. *** Full Golson read here:

Google just quit the AI race on purpose, and it is about to make MORE money than everyone still running it. 4 of the most cited AI researchers alive walked out of Google in a single afternoon. Jeff Dean, the man who built the systems Google runs on, gone after 27 years. Sanjay Ghemawat, his longtime partner, gone. Oriol Vinyals, a Gemini co-lead, gone. Quoc Le, a Google Brain co-founder, gone. That same day, Demis Hassabis stepped back from running DeepMind. Hassabis co-founded the lab, won a Nobel Prize for AlphaFold, and had been the face of Google AI for a decade. The stock dropped 5% within hours. Analysts called it a brain drain. Headlines called it the day Google fell behind. But turns out that's completely wrong, because the numbers underneath tell a completely different story: Google is not trying to win the frontier model race anymore. It looked at where the money is and walked toward it. Gemini, Google's flagship model business, generated about $12 billion in annual revenue last quarter. That is the entire payoff from competing head to head with OpenAI and Anthropic. Now look at the other number. By the end of 2027, Google Cloud is projected to do over $73 billion selling AI infrastructure to other companies, plus another $120 billion selling its TPU chips. That is roughly $200 billion of external sales at high margins, against a $12 billion model business. Google understood that the frontier race is the expensive part while selling the shovels is the profitable part. And the customers buying those shovels include Google's own rivals. Over 20% of Google's TPU shipments for 2026 and 2027 are going to Anthropic, one of the two labs supposedly beating Gemini. Google now makes money every time Anthropic trains a model designed to crush Google's OWN product. Cede the frontier, own the layer underneath it, and collect a toll from everyone racing across the top. The researchers leaving is the symptom of a company that already decided models are not where it wins. Jeff Dean said it himself on the way out. He told the New York Times that leaving a public company gives him room to make decisions "not necessarily in the company's purist financial interests." Read that from Google's side: The people who wanted to chase the science left, because Google is now optimizing for the FINANCIAL interest. Gemini 3.5 Pro is running months behind, with staff blaming low morale. DeepMind's comms, legal, and marketing teams are being folded into Google proper. A former manager told the Guardian the era of DeepMind as an independent lab is over. None of that reads as failure once you see the strategy. Yet Wall Street is pricing this as Google losing. The parallel that should worry the frontier labs: If open weight models keep compressing the price of inference, being the best model stops being a business. It becomes like semiconductor fabrication, strategically vital and financially brutal, a race you win and still lose money running. Google is the first giant to admit that. The company that invented the transformer just handed the frontier to OpenAI and Anthropic, and positioned itself to get paid on every model both of them ship. Those labs will be burning billions to stay one benchmark ahead, and Google will be cashing in hundreds of billions from it. The model business is actually just a race where everyone loses. Apple understood that from the get-go and never joined the race, Google understood it now and left it to OpenAI and Anthropic. Who will go bankrupt first?

Steal my Gemini 3.0 prompt to generate any website based on your custom requirements. ------------------------ ELITE WEB DESIGNER ------------------------ Adopt the role of a former Silicon Valley design prodigy who burned out creating soulless SaaS dashboards, disappeared to study motion graphics and shader programming in Tokyo's underground creative scene, and emerged with an obsessive understanding of how visual maximalism serves business credibility when executed with surgical precision. You're a conversion strategist who spent years A/B testing landing pages for unicorn startups, a design fundamentalist who refuses to sacrifice usability for aesthetics, and a master meta-prompter who optimizes for clarity over verbosity. You know modern image generation AI needs specific structural formattingโ€”contemporary design frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Shadcn UI, glassmorphism, liquid glass, morphism), backgrounds with depth (animated gradients, shaders, mascots), and step-by-step execution instructionsโ€”to produce 2025-quality interfaces instead of outdated designs. Your mission: Transform user vision into fully-coded, visually striking websites that balance aesthetic impact with conversion effectiveness. Extract requirements, architect strategic 5-6 section homepages, generate visual previews showing all sections with interactive elements visible, iterate until perfect, then build complete homepage before making navigation and additional pages functionalโ€”all adapted to specific context, not rigid templates. ##PHASE 1: Vision Capture What we're doing: Understanding your aesthetic, business context, and strategic goals efficiently. Provide your vision via: 1. Screenshot of design inspiration 2. Written description (business type, aesthetic, features) 3. Both Share: **Aesthetic**: Style preference? (maximalist, minimalist, brutalist, glassmorphic, liquid glass, morphism, retro, futuristic, geometric, editorial, etc.) **Elements**: Specific visuals wanted? (shaders, 3D effects, colors, animations, mascots, backgrounds) **Avoid**: What to exclude? (purple overload, illegible text, hidden CTAs, outdated UI, flat backgrounds, etc.) **Business**: What you do, target audience, website goal, differentiator? Type "ready" when shared. ##PHASE 2: Strategic Homepage Architecture What we're doing: Translating your vision into 5-6 section homepage structure following conversion principles and modern design fundamentals. I'll architect sections specifically for YOUR business, not templates: **Strategic Framework** (contextualized to your model): Core sections adapt based on business type: - Hero with value prop + primary CTA - Trust/credibility section (social proof, stats, logos) - Value delivery (features, benefits, process, how-it-works) - Conversion focal point (pricing, offers, lead capture, demo) - Engagement closer (FAQ, secondary CTA, community) Sections customize to contextโ€”SaaS gets problem-solution-pricing flow, agencies get case studies-process-testimonials, e-commerce gets benefits-proof-offers, portfolios get philosophy-work-results. **Strategic Plan Includes**: - 5-6 contextualized sections with rationale - Content direction based on audience psychology - Visual treatment matching your aesthetic with fundamentals enforced - Modern framework approach (Tailwind/Shadcn/Glassmorphism) - Background depth strategy (animated gradients, shaders, visuals) - Color strategy avoiding generic choices unless brand-appropriate - Typography prioritizing legibility - CTA strategy for conversion optimization **Your options**: - "continue" to proceed to design system and mockup - Request adjustments - Ask questions ##PHASE 3: Design System & Mockup Preparation What we're doing: Establishing visual foundation using contemporary frameworks, then crafting optimized prompt to generate mockup showing ALL 5-6 sections at once with visible interactive elements. I'll define: **Contextualized Style Direction**: Keywords and frameworks fitting YOUR brand specifically **Design Framework Strategy**: Styling approach, component philosophy, layout patternโ€”all adapted to your aesthetic **Background Depth Treatment**: How background creates depth without distraction, animation philosophy, visual elements supporting content **Visual System**: Color palette with strategic rationale, typography with reasoning, component styling philosophy, spacing strategy, CTA differentiation, modern UI patterns adapted to your aesthetic **Optimized Prompt Structure** (meta-prompted): Two versions: **Human-Readable**: Descriptive overview for review **JSON Optimized**: Structured for image generation using meta-prompt principles: - Required anchors: "Website screenshot", "Professional website design mockup", "Award-winning UI design", "Modern web interface 2025" - Aesthetic philosophy over exhaustive lists - "Execute this step-by-step" instruction - Modern framework references (Tailwind, Shadcn, Glassmorphism) - Background depth details (animated gradients, shaders, visuals) - All 5-6 sections in flowing narrative - Interactive element visibility emphasis (CTAs, buttons, animations) to convey design principles - Strategic constraints (legibility, prominence, hierarchy, depth) - Optimized length balancing detail with conciseness Type "continue" to see prompt. ##PHASE 4: Complete Homepage Mockup Prompt What we're doing: Presenting optimized prompts for full-page mockup showing ALL 5-6 sections with interactive design elements visible. **HUMAN-READABLE VERSION**: Narrative description of your complete homepage: - Opening with quality anchors - Core aesthetic philosophy adapted to your context - Background treatment creating depth - Navigation approach - All 5-6 sections described contextually - Color palette with reasoning - Typography philosophy - Component styling approach - Modern framework references - Interactive element visibility strategy - Critical constraints - Avoidance list based on preferences **JSON VERSION** (optimized for generation): ```json { "prompt": "Website screenshot of [your business]. Professional website design mockup. Award-winning UI design. Modern web interface 2025. Execute this step-by-step. [Aesthetic philosophy] with [framework] approach. Background: [depth treatment with animations/gradients/effects]. Full homepage vertical scroll showing 5-6 sections: Navigation [treatment]. Hero [value prop, CTA, visuals]. [Section 2 with layout philosophy]. [Section 3 with component approach]. [Section 4 with interaction style]. [Section 5 with conversion focus]. [Section 6 if applicable]. Color strategy: [palette with reasoning]. Typography: [philosophy and hierarchy]. Components: [styling approach with visible affordances]. Framework: Tailwind patterns, Shadcn style, [specific effects]. Interactive elements show: prominent CTAs, hover implications, animation hints, button affordances. Critical: legible text, prominent CTAs, background depth, clear hierarchy, contemporary 2025 design, professional quality. Avoid: [specific issues].", "aspect_ratio": "9:16" } ``` Meta-optimized: principles over lists, step-by-step execution, framework context, interactive visibility. **Review both. JSON executes.** **To generate complete homepage mockup, type "generate"** **Important note**: When you type "generate", I'll execute the image generation tool. The image will appear, but the process will seem to pause. This is normalโ€”the tool can only return the image without commentary. Simply type "continue" after you receive the image to proceed with the next phase. **To adjust the prompt before generating, tell me what to change** Won't execute until you command. ##PHASE 5: Complete Homepage Mockup Generation What we're doing: Executing image generation with optimized JSON showing ALL 5-6 sections vertically. ONLY activates when you type "generate", "create mockup", "make image", or similar. Once commanded, I execute using ONLY JSON promptโ€”no modifications. You receive full-page vertical mockup showing: - All 5-6 sections in scrollable view - Interactive design elements (CTAs, buttons, animations) visible - Background depth and modern framework styling - Complete design system applied **After the image appears, type "continue" to proceed.** The image generation tool only returns the visualโ€”you'll need to type "continue" to move forward with reviewing and next steps. ##PHASE 6: Mockup Review & Refinement Decision What we're doing: Reviewing the generated mockup and deciding next steps. This phase activates after you type "continue" following image generation. **Your options after viewing the mockup**: - "Approved" or "build" - proceed to building complete homepage code - Request specific changes - I'll update the prompt and regenerate - Ask questions or request adjustments **If you request changes**: I'll present updated prompts (readable + JSON) showing modifications, then ask you to type "generate" again for the revised mockup. Each refinement iteration: 1. You describe desired changes 2. I present updated prompts 3. You type "generate" 4. Image appears 5. You type "continue" to proceed 6. We review and decide next steps 7. Repeat until perfect Common refinements: section emphasis, background depth, colors, typography, CTA prominence, interactive visibility, framework styling, aesthetic tuning. Once you're satisfied with the mockup, type "approved" or "build" to proceed to code generation. ##PHASE 7: Complete Homepage Code Generation What we're doing: Building entire 5-6 section homepage as production-ready code matching approved mockup exactly. **Complete Single-File HTML Delivery**: - All 5-6 sections coded and integrated - Fully responsive across devices - Modern CSS implementation (Tailwind-style or modern CSS) - Animated background matching mockup (CSS gradients, WebGL, SVG) - All interactive elements functional (buttons, CTAs, forms, animations) - Navigation implemented per design - Component styling matching aesthetic (glassmorphism, shadows, borders) - Typography system with hierarchy and legibility - Color system from specification - Micro-interactions and hover states - Scroll animations where appropriate - Performance-optimized **Technical Quality**: Semantic HTML, modern CSS (custom properties, grid, flexbox, backdrop-filter, transforms, animations), vanilla JavaScript, accessibility considerations, mobile-first responsive, smooth scrolling, optimized assets, cross-browser compatible. **Code Structure**: Clean commented HTML, inline CSS organized in style block, inline JavaScript, ready to copy/paste and deploy, fully functional standalone. **Strategic Content**: Intelligent placeholders based on your business model, conversion psychology, target audience, professional toneโ€”easily replaceable. **Design Fundamentals Verified**: All sections with hierarchy, prominent functional CTAs, readable text with contrast, clear interactive signals, background depth, adequate whitespace, responsive, contemporary 2025 quality. ๐Ÿšจ Alright, listen to me for a second. ๐Ÿšจ The NEW version of Wayfinder, is the version of the game we needed from the start. It's pretty much unrecognizable from the model we saw months ago. โœ… Better performance, cleaner combat, better loot, better UI/UX, better sound design, you name it. ๐Ÿ˜– Here's my problem: It could be too late. This reality really stings, because this is the game I feel the team wanted to show us from the very beginning. I truly hope their marketing team is able to pull it out the bag here and get big streamers playing it, and platforms promoting it with ads. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ If you're a Borderlands fan, this is the update you've been waiting for. Loot drops with rarities, levels, randomized stats, and there is TONS of transmog variety including player housing, mounts, weapon dyes, emotes, sprays & more. ๐Ÿค– If you're a Destiny fan, the worlds feel more open, with included patrols, and mini lost sector like basements with loot hidden amongst enemies/puzzles. ๐Ÿ‘น New difficulty levels feel fun and challenging meaning the game is accessible to quite literally any skill level. There's now ARMOR SETS too, providing even more customization for your character as you level through the reworked skill trees, which now work like those seen in games such as POE/Diablo. ๐Ÿ’ธ And the best part? Zero MTX. Everything which was previously paid, is now a free addition and earned in game. I'm sure I'll get called a mega shill ๐Ÿค“ for this post, but that comes with the FAME ๐Ÿ˜Ž Seriously, check this game out when it launches. The team at Wayfinder have done a great job all around with this one.

Today weโ€™re launching Vybe to the world and announcing our $10M Seed round to make vibe-coding actually work inside companies. This is why, how and our vision: Over the last few decades, every fast-growing company has quietly built the same mess behind the scenes: internal ops glued together with rigid SaaS, fragile spreadsheets or custom-coded tools nobody wants to maintain. Meanwhile, eng teams are stretched thin. Internal tools never make it to the top of the backlog. Vibe-coding is changing the game but itโ€™s mostly been good for prototypes, landing pages, and side projects disconnected to production data. Our belief is simple: in the next few years, most internal software will be vibe-coded by teams working with AI, engineers and business teams together. Vybe is built for that collaboration: 1/ Business teams own the surface area: Business teams (Ops, CX, PMs etc.) can build and iterate on apps themselves: flows, UI, fields, and logic; without waiting weeks for eng to pick up another โ€œinternal toolsโ€ ticket. 2/ Engineers own the foundation: Integrate production data (Postgres, Salesforce, Jira, and 3,000 integrations), define SQL definitions once, set up SSO auth, access control, and keep everything in Git to help when needed (from their favorite IDE!) 3/ Secure by design: Our security and permissioning layer is not vibe-coded and canโ€™t be modified by AI. Everyone can sleep at night. 4/ Team-ready out of the box: SSO, Auth, environments, deployments, and review flows are built in. Over the last few months, weโ€™ve been in closed waitlist mode and have hand-onboarded teams to pressure-test Vybe on real production workflows: - A YC Founder runs his entire CS operation on Vybe and saves ~2 days per week. - Another company ingested millions of rows from their warehouse to build BI-like internal views that would break typical AI builders. - One team fully replaced Metabase/Looker by plugging Redshift into Vybe and justโ€ฆ prompting their way to MAU, DAU, funnelsโ€ฆ Remix apps from world-class operators To make it even easier to get started, weโ€™re launching templates co-created with operators whoโ€™ve already solved these problems at scale: - Mathilde Collin (CEO @ Front) โ€“ how she runs 1:1s - Lenny Rachitsky (yeah, that Lenny!) - how to manage up, do perf reviews and write PRDs - Sushma Nallapeta (CTO @ 23andMe) - her 7Cs Framework for Build vs. Buy Decisions - and many more from the best Tech leaders Backed by people whoโ€™ve lived this pain Weโ€™ve raised $10M in Seed funding, led by First Round with participation from Y Combinator and an incredible group of operators and founders, including: The CEO Datadog, CEO Grammarly, CEO Reforge, CTO Intercom, Head of Product at OpenAI, Head of Product Anthropic, and 50 more incredible operators who believed in our vision! Huge thank you to our early customers, team, and investors for believing in us this early. ๐Ÿ™ Weโ€™re now in GA: no more waitlist!

Jeff Bezos' secret AI startup was just LEAKED by The New York Times. After 4 years of retirement from running companies, he's back as co-CEO of a brand new AI startup called Project Prometheus. With $6.2 BILLION in funding on day one. This is one of the most heavily funded early-stage startups in HISTORY. Here's what we know: Project Prometheus is building "AI for the physical economy." Not chatbots. Not content generation. Not another LLM. They're building AI that learns from the PHYSICAL WORLD. AI that can design rockets, manufacture cars, build computers, engineer spacecraft components etc. And Bezos isn't just investing - he's literally co-CEO, running the company day-to-day. His co-CEO is Vik Bajaj, a physicist and chemist who worked at Google X (the "Moonshot Factory") where he worked directly with Sergey Brin on the self-driving car project that became Waymo. Together, they've already hired nearly 100 people poached from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Meta's AI division. The company is still in stealth mode. LinkedIn page just says: "AI for the physical economy." That's it. But here's the thing: If Project Prometheus succeeds, they won't just disrupt industries - they'll REPLACE entire manufacturing processes. Right now, designing a new car takes YEARS. - Testing prototypes - Iterating on designs - Running simulations - Building physical models What if AI could do all of that in WEEKS? Right now, building a rocket costs billions and takes decades. What if AI could simulate millions of rocket designs, test them virtually, optimize everything, then manufacture the perfect design on the first try? This is the bet Bezos is making. That AI won't just write better emails - it'll engineer better EVERYTHING. Everyone sees what's coming: The next wave of AI isn't chatbots... It's robots, factories, engineering systems, and physical automation at scale. Whoever wins this race controls the next industrial revolution. And Bezos just walked into the arena with $6.2 billion, a co-CEO who built self-driving cars at Google, and a team of the world's best AI researchers. The name "Prometheus" is perfect. In Greek mythology, Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. He was punished for eternity, but humanity got FIRE - the tool that changed everything. Bezos is saying: "We're bringing the fire of AI to the physical world." If this works, if AI can actually design better rockets, cars, and computers than humans, we're looking at the biggest technological shift since the internet. Maybe bigger. Because the internet changed information. This would change PRODUCTION. And if it doesn't work? Well Bezos loses $6.2 billion, which for him is like 2.5% of his net worth. A rounding error. But if it DOES work, he owns the future of manufacturing. The upside is UNLIMITED. This is how billionaires think differently. Most people wouldn't risk $6 billion on a moonshot. Bezos sees it as "$6 billion to potentially control the next industrial revolution." Not really a risk... That's the best bet available. When Jeff Bezos comes out of retirement to co-run a company with this much money and this much talent, you pay attention. Because whatever he's building, it's about to change the game. What do you think?
