Nobody really celebrates Juneteenth as a holiday. Government workers are always happy for a paid day off work and politicians use it to try to prove how non-racist they can pretend to be, but nobody is celebrating the day.

I’ve been saying that for a couple of years now. It was just Democrats playing. I grew up in the early 60s we still observed Emancipation Day. I wonder when that all stopped?

So if your state is refusing to participate, the question isn’t political… it’s simple: Why wouldn’t you celebrate the greatest country in the history of the world? This is one anniversary that should unite us, NOT divide us. Put the politics away. Celebrate the flag. Celebrate our history. Celebrate the heroes who built, defended, and preserved this Republic.
