I've been a software developer for much of my professional career. If you're a coder, use Grok 4! I had Grok write an SVG path hash fill program in Python to plot circuit pads. It did a great job in < 1 second. AI-assisted developers will keep their jobs.

He’s talking about good paying jobs, jobs that supported a family, jobs that afforded one to buy a home AI will be stealing a lot of jobs, especially from kids that can’t get jobs with useless degrees from college God teaches, if you don’t work you don’t eat

That's a view held by a lot of people that know nothing about coding. It's wrong. Writing code it now especially hard, writing cood code is and more importantly, finding bugs is hard.

'Higher' education isn't. College is trash. Pushed by High Schools 'guidance counselors'. Do these High Schools get a kickback for the students they convince to go to these bloated, useless, cash-hog institutions?

They're coming for all occupations, some later than others, but to say they won't come for manual labor is absurd. Amazon has already replaced 100,000 workers with their robot force and very soon these robots will become far more sophisticated than human beings in nearly all occupations. God help US ALL.

My brother is the best welder I've ever seen. His measurements are accurate, his finishing top-notch. But resides in a town where they sparingly see electricity. 😢

This makes me sick,try getting into a union trade in the 1990s or 2000s . I tried for was always kept so quiet when they opened doors for testing .Then the ones who knew someone who got them in would Never say to anyone when the doors were opening again.
