No. I’m not gonna learn your stupid bullshit made up language

let me try.. "riv-er-view" did i get it.. ya. "Riverview".

Just spell it phonetically using the official language (English) as your base. You will get better buy in and adoption. The fact that you have to produce a video and a campaign on how to pronounce it is an admission of failure.

Seriously folks think “Sto:lo awesome” and you have the pronunciation.

Great video! Anyone upset about this is a racist. It really is as simple as that.

PATTULLO

give it up. We want english names in canada, no matter what country or ethnicity our ancestors came from. Did you know that Brooklyn New York was originally a dutch town with a dutch name derived from a dutch town in Netherlands, called Breukelen? The name was changed to Brooklyn.... and that's okay. We are not going to name towns in greek, or latin, or chinese, or cree, unless they can be written in english letters, with a prounceble understanding. If the bridge is stalawasam, so be it. But forget the crappy mixed up letters.

No. Never. Made up fake language grift.

It's a beautiful name, and so easy to pronounce!

It’s the Patullo bridge to me, and always will be.

Get serious. It's always going to be called Patullo Bridge.

JUST when we've learned the pronunciation of "Pattullo"..ya go ahead and change things on us.

But before you say it.. get on one knee settler, colonizing white trash person. Said the hidden agenda out loud.

Is that like a pronoun that you insist I use to call the dead named Pattullo bridge?

Patullo. Easy enough.

Stick the name where the sun doesn't shine

🤮

It’s called the Patullo people.

How much taxpayer money is going into this Public Relations announcement?

Riverview Bridge

All of you are fucking reetarded. Can’t wait being in the gulags run with your cartoonish and childish ways. I’ll be bullying you like the nerds you are you, until the final moment in front of the firing squad.

This is cultural imperialism and lies. The language existed, the script is an American linguist's wet dream. You are representing a spoken language phonetically, please use a script that is not foreign and unintelligible to anyone but those who have studied it. So not helpful.

No! Built not stolen. No more shame.

Looks like all positive comments. Do stupid things. Win stupid prizes.

Thats never going to happen. The words are entirely unpronounceable.

No one cares about your retrograde Stone Age “culture” wagon burning scalping slave trading savages!

A lot of crap ! This band had no alphabet before Conquest and no writing . The ''normal'' english alphabet can be used to write almost anything from any language . Why all this bullshit ??

You didn't build it You didn't even pay for it So, screw you

To all those complaining about the name just know you use Indigenous languages every day with words like Canada,Toronto, Mississauga, Vancouver, Winnipeg etc

like a bridge over troubled waters...

It's pronounced "Riverview Bridge." Or just say "Pattullo Bridge" if you want to stay old school.

Your Money. Your Bridge. Your Call. December 8,2025 Taxpayers built this bridge so taxpayers, not politicians, should decide if the name changes. Should have been put to a binding referendum and let the people speak. Before spending a dime, show a full, itemized cost breakdown of re-naming the bridge: signage, mapping updates, legal changes, admin costs, public communications… every last penny. A province buried in serious debt has no room for hidden price tags. Politicians work for us; we pay their wages. Major decisions should require binding referendums, not closed-door politics. The technology for secure, low-cost public voting already exists. Time to use it. Politicians also rely on voter inertia to stay in power. A letter carries more impact than an email but both matter. Old-school politics says one handwritten letter represents 100 voters. Taking a moment to write shows you’re not just watching a blinking screen — you’re stepping up. Real democracy isn’t a spectator sport. Your MLA works for YOU, not the backroom boys club. Flood their inbox today. One sentence is enough: “Cut the secret deals or we cut your career.” Send it. Remind them who actually owns this province. Do it now. They hate that. Quib (Retired from the political shadows. The circus left town; I kept the clown shoes.)

Dumb low iq “elders” that can barely string a sentence together 🤣🖕🏻🤠🤛🏻💪🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🤠🖕🏻
