Least intense experience reading Saint Augustine

To be honest, I am reading Confessions right now and I am having trouble getting through it. I get more out of Teresa of Avila, Brother Lawrence, AW Tozer, Andrew Murray etc.

It felt like I had a rough time at the start of it, but honestly sometimes certain Saints don’t connect as well with others whereas other Saints do

I think this is true for the Confessions but his other works don't strike me with the same vibe
