Well done Verity. “You can play it in sections” after being told four times that 10 mins was too long for the spot. Actually quite frightening how somebody like Lee ends up running the country.

Wot! Free speech Lee trying to gag local radio because he comes across as a liar and a bully 🤔

For someone who markets himself on being "straight talking" and "telling it like it is" he's incredibly evasive and does everything he can to deflect from his obvious wrong-doing. The bigger issue here is Sunak and him thinking Anderson represents the working class. He doesn't.

The Tories need to confirm whether or not Lee's conduct falls within the parameters of normal and acceptable behaviour for a sitting Conservative MP. If it doesn't, he needs to go. If it does, they all do.

He's literally nauseating. I've been in conversations before with people like this, so convinced of their correctness that they try to dictate everything you think and do as a result of that conversation. It makes my skin crawl. To say nothing of the false equivalence he draws.

But please ask Verity that, if ever she is asked to compare her own behaviour with that of an MP and get trapped as she was in this interview, it is a false equivalence to compare the ethics of a private individual with the higher standards required of an MP.
