Lee Anderson thinks food bank users simply can’t “cook properly” and “cannot budget”. But Rishi Sunak appointed him Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party anyway. What on earth does this say about the Prime Minister’s judgement and leadership?

@bbcquestiontime Do you EVER represent hard working white straight people who do not claim benefits . You know the majority who get up go to work , support themselves etc ...... everything about labour is just divisive .. it's a rotten to the core party .....

@bbcquestiontime Lee Anderson works at a food-bank, helping to run budgeting and cookery classes. He knows what he's talking about. Odd that no-one from Labour will take him up on his invitation to visit the food-bank and see for themselves.

@bbcquestiontime Volunteering at a good bank I can say in alot of cases Lee is correct. If people dealt with their addictions like smoking and gambling, learnt to budget and learnt to cook many wouldn't have the problems they now do have The fact you won't understand this speaks volumes about you

@bbcquestiontime Oh Lisa, when will Labour MPs stop behaving like petulant children. Like many people, Lee Anderson questions the budgeting skills of some of those using food banks. Do some proper research and stop stamping your feet.

@bbcquestiontime I don't wanna alarm yu pet, but we can all hear what yer saying! Labour believe that simply saying something aloud is enough to make it real. Well, , , , . Men can't give birth! Men are stronger than women! Labour are no longer for the working class!

@bbcquestiontime Wrong Miss Nandy - Lee Anderson and the food bank he is involved with educates people on how to get the most out of their hard earned money. What’s wrong with that?

@bbcquestiontime That was classic “ you’re not paid to be offended “ by the guy in the audience. Get real Lisa, Lee speaks common sense.

@bbcquestiontime If they're using food banks while on over £30,000pa they are extremely bad at budgeting or living well beyond their means luv.

@bbcquestiontime If it’s ruffling your feathers then all well and good. He should have actually been made Home Secretary and the Labour Party would have been in a real meltdown.

@bbcquestiontime There was a popular tv show about these people, 'Can't Cook, Wont Cook' Food bank users have better things to spend other peoples money on, obviously. Scary world in which Lisa and chums think towing the party line should be mandatory. Where is N Brown? Why was Naz Shah promoted?
