Another eg of the Tories salting the earth, while still in office, and refusing to take responsibility for the mess they left behind. Bare faced lies from the leader of this toxic rump.

Jason Beer KC - Barrister at the conclusion of his examination of @KemiBadenoch Thank you for answering some of my questions. Much laughter in the room.

The Tory party are going to get what they deserve for making her leader. She has zero credibility and zero integrity.

@KemiBadenoch failed completely. She was the Minister. Very Tory to blame everyone else for her clear failure. We know thus story too well.

Badenoch also said there was a lack of common sense in Whitehall which was hampering compensation payments. Didn’t she have a ministerial colleague - Esther McVey the ‘Minister’ for Common Sense?

You were conveniently allowing 'bureaucracy get in the way' because the compensation wasn't funded, was it Badenoch?

Trying to absolve herself completely while blaming everyone else? How on-brand for Badenoch 🙄.

It’s always somebody else’s fault #Badenoch - a Tory tradition.

Why am I so sceptical of her responses? As the responsible Minister she should have argued for and won the funds to compensate those affected and end their nightmare.

The arrogance of Bad Enoch shows her as a female Johnson talking 🐂💩 for 🐂💩’s sake
