It was a partial inquiry that virtually ignored the criminal activities of those who enables the mass rapes to happen. It's a standard approach from government that don't want attention drawn. Set tightly controlled terms of reference making sure to leave out anything that might be embarrassing.

But oddly zero consequences around the cover ups? Some resignations. Which for some reason many seem to wish to not discuss. This wasn’t just “failings” this was cowardice…incompetence and corruption for a number of reasons. Some of which were to not cause “racial tensions” and to not lose votes. And mainly labour local authorities were complicit. Not a conspiracy theory….reality.

And what has been acted on from that inquiry?

But nothings changed. So that was another 7 years wasted. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Of the hundreds of thousands of perps, how many are in prison for life? How many have been deported? How many are still in positions of power & trust, who enabled & participated in this? Toothless & whitewashing *inquiries* like this are pure political theater. Haven’t punished the perps or fixed the enabling system. And then, same people claiming “We already addressed this!” are doing everything in their power to add a million+ more perp-profile men to vulnerable communities by the end of the year. Can’t make this stuff up. Sad

I just skimmed through the executive summary and it looks like the most generic smokescreen bullshit. No specific mention as far as I can see of the Pakistani rape gangs. As a result, it's still happening.

IICSA looked at SOME cases, and only one of the worst was covered because they could not bury it. The "inquiry" was a sop, a scam, which did NOTHING to hold those responsible for ALLOWING the barbarity to continue, you can be sure it is to this day, so was NOT a full "inquiry"

No we want a genuine inquiry. Not a pro establishment pussy footed one that takes the same approach towards it that caused the whole grooming gang mess in the first place.

And still it goes on. Corrupt politicians and police.
