At a public meeting about data centers, a man was warned, then removed and arrested after clapping just once. Officials told the crowd that snapping, clapping, or any “rude” reactions during the two-minute speaking periods would get them asked to leave. When he clapped, they shut it down and had him dragged out. They’re building massive data centers that drain power and water… and you can’t even clap in disagreement without getting arrested. Are you okay with this?

I do not support Palestine Action but proscribing it as a terrorist organisation is intellectually bankrupt... Frankly I am deeply ashamed" 2,700+ people have been arrested for holding up signs If someone commits criminal damage or attacks another person, they should absolutely be prosecuted. Those are crimes and should be dealt with through the normal justice system. But arresting people simply for holding up signs expressing support raises a serious question about freedom of expression and proportionality. Also, how can it be right for people to be treated as terrorists when a jury never convicted them of terrorism? I'm with Baron Hain on this. How about you?
