A good point made here, Yvette Cooper stated that there was more evidence that the government couldn't disclose to parliament that required Palestine Action to be proscribed as a terrorist organisation. MPs undoubtedly acted on her word and passed the legislation. Was this other evidence put before the High Court judges in this case? Did the Home Secretary lie to the House and the people about the existence or merit of this other evidence? Subsequently, thousands have been wrongly arrested under this unlawful legislation. The cost of compensation is going to be enormous. Based on today's ruling Cooper is either incompetent or a liar, either way she has proven not fit for government...
