I'm moving to S.F. and identifying as an oppressed black, female, transgender, woke, gay, Muslim, Democrat whose ancestors could have been slaves. That should be enough boxes. Pay me.

A state that never had slaves, taking money from people who never owned slaves and giving it to people who never were slaves. Makes perfect sense.

Are they basing the 5 million on the amount of wealth they would have accumulated if they were still living in Africa? Evidently they think there are a lot of Nigerian princes.

Reparations for what? There is so much wrong with that ideology. Africa sold its people to other blacks. They also sold them to whites. Blacks owned black slaves. They also owned white slaves.
