How can anyone believe in the project to reform the Democratic Party when the people who run on reforming it continue to back corrupt corporatist politicians for leadership? This only reaffirms that the Democratic Party cannot be reformed and that we need to build and fight for a working-class alternative.

It is a fantasy to think that Britain can accommodate alien, incompatible faiths and cultures just as it brokered peace between different Christian denominations. There are no “shared values” between peoples that can be appealed to, which produce a harmonious culture. You cannot treat Islam, Hinduism, or Sikhism like Protestantism and Catholicism. We should not have to forfeit parts of our national identity to encompass its antonyms. We shouldn’t shy away from saying that anything outside the bounds of our traditions should not be here.

The trans athlete at the center of an ongoing Supreme Court case won a girls' state championship in West Virginia over the weekend. Alliance Defending Freedom Attorney Suzanne Beecher, who is helping to lead the SCOTUS defense against the trans athlete and the ACLU, has responded. "What has already happened by putting West Virginia's law on hold as it applies to West Virginia in the B.P.J case is that girls have already been harmed," Beecher added. "When you ignore differences between boys and girls, and between males and females, a lot of the harm falls on girls."
