Will forever stand by the fact that The Battle of Scarif at the end of Rogue One is genuinely one of the greatest fictional battles that I've ever watched in a movie. Gareth Edwards' stunning visuals only make this sequence even more iconic, and I'll always appreciate how they utilized unused footage from 1977 to further interconnect this story to the original Star Wars film. Can't believe it's almost been a decade since I first watched this in theaters, seeing this in IMAX with a packed crowd back in 2016 was unreal.

Fight Against Evil 3 东北警察故事3 [2026] Directed By: Yang Bingjia Very different from the previous two (Comedy) but this one is totally fun with the current trend in Chinese action films of adding a music montage during a fight scene, but Du Xiaohui who works with Qin Pengfei has been doing his thing as an action director pairing up with Li Xiangyang as choreographer. The Japanese influence in choreography has been amazing to see in Chinese action cinema adding their own flare, you even see a shoutout to Hydra towards the end of this scene.

To put it to the test, he created a Pixar-style short about a baker desperately trying to protect his croissant from a relentless pigeon. The entire film was vibe directed, not prompted. Paper Marriage 過埠新娘 [1988] Directed By: Alfred Cheung This is captured from the upcoming Sammo Hung collection from Eureka Entertainment that drops on Dec.9 This set includes Manchu Boxer and Shanghai, Shanghai. Paper Marriage is my favorite in the set with a great cast of actors like Maggie Cheung, Dick Wei and an appearance by Joyce Godenzi. This comedy about Sammo (Chien Pao) being in debt due to his gambling addiction agrees to marry someone so they can get their papers and he gets paid. But of course, things don't go according to plan, and both have to hustle to get money. Starts off with comedy hijinks which are hysterical, especially when Jade (Maggie Cheung) starts living with him (She gets put through the toilet by accident which looks insane) and the mud wrestling scene, lol. Overall, a fun film with an amazing action-packed finale which was shot in West Edmonton Mall. Pre-Orders are up over at MVD Entertainment
