Legendary comedy always predicts the future, because, and I know this sounds trippy but just hear my out… It’s because there really is no past or future when it comes to what is and always will be. The comedian shows you human nature using metaphor, analogy, and hyperbole. That... nature exists all the time. The details and specifics of it he fruit of that nature just rotate like the seasons. So it appears prophetic but it’s always been this. For example, let’s say a comedian is witnessing “workers” feeling oppressed because they can’t be “owners” (communist revolution). The behavior required to be an owner they either can’t or won’t do. They are denying objective reality and claiming victim status exactly like this guy in this clip. The comedian can’t address it directly without being seen as political or “triggering” so they use a different example of the same behavior. As time moves on (in a circle) the metaphor or exaggeration becomes “real” and the cycle continues. The comedian is always looking at the fundamental non changing truth of human nature. It’s the same in music that’s why I teach music now because you can’t really teach comedy. Everything that’s ever happened or will happen is constantly in a state of revelation forever in a realm with no time. We just experience it forever. The comedian isn’t a religious leader and a religious leader isn’t a comedian. The comedian has to live in moment to moment truth without reservation. Other jobs should not do that or they aren’t doing their job. This clip was a few years before the rimjob/Andrew Wilson meltdown about the trinity. I can’t say I understand or believe something that I don’t and be a comedian. It’s not my job to toe the line of any dogma. I’m not the source of truth, I can be and am wrong sometimes but when I’m wrong I can’t know I’m wrong while I’m saying it or I lose my ability to do comedy. Everyone is up-in-arms over the Matt Rife comedy special. Every time a comedian comes under fire, this is what I wish I could scream from the rooftops: You’re allowed to speak about what you find to be “inappropriate” comedy, but just understand that—in this instance—you almost always sound annoying to everyone else in the room. You sound like every other person who’s ever complained about how we “shouldn’t joke about that.” In this instance, there’s nothing special, moving, or compelling about your voice. If a joke fails with an audience, a joke fails. If it fails repeatedly, it’s probably either not funny or not delivered well. If it’s not funny, it shouldn’t be told. But at a COMEDY show, that’s literally the only reason to censor yourself—because what you were gonna say was overwhelming not funny—not because it “wasn’t appropriate.” If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen, snowflakes. *and no, this isn’t me saying I thought the joke—or the special (which I haven’t seen)—was funny.

As time passes, even my own notes keep changing. When I die, the money I earned becomes meaningless. There might be people who remember my name, but that won’t last forever either. So what I believe is that what truly remains in this world..what stays in the universe, is the energy I give to it. Once that energy is released into the world, it’s just out there, like dust, existing somewhere in the universe forever. Because I think energy matters deeply. Your energy can be destructive, or it can be good. So just be good energy. Give good things to the world. Because that’s the only thing that lasts. And your life is part of that energy. That’s the only thing that is forever.

In Ag…… let’s be honest we know so very little, we just hope to capture a bit of knowledge each opportunity we get. We should learn from one another not cry about someone’s ideas because they are different then what you learned or were taught. History teaches us a lot, but it doesn’t mean you can’t move forward, it’s a constant cycle of learning. And no one learns without others! It’s a team game that we are all in together. The guy that says I can’t trust that guy as he sells that seed or that fertilizer or that foliar is going to see rough times. As learning is opening your eyes and ears to ideas, and adding them to your library full of knowledge from your own experiences. That’s how something improves. It’s not the same thing every year and it’s not changing everything all at once. It’s bringing ideas and practices together to make it all work and bridge the gap.

Listen to this whole thing it’s great. I love that these guys can be chill and not just make fun of everyone like I always do. My way in my opinion is super funny but this way is more effective at not getting banned from airbandb JP Sears seems to be the real deal. It’s funny how ego destroys people. They can’t take a simple joke. They push people to stop so then the comedian says “no problem” and delivers a precise breakdown of all the logic and the inner world of the topic. The comedian would rather not do that, but in order to be funny you have to really really understand other people. Then of course the reaction is “you stopped being funny in this explanation! Former comedian! Crashout!” But that doesn’t work unless you call everyone racial pejorative’s and become a farmer. Comedians are oddly sensitive in a way because of the need for high emotional empathy to see what is and how to make it funny, and that can lead to a LOT of cucking and codependent behavior with “the public.” I wasn’t holding my breath but I’m pleasantly impressed by JP. And way to stay chill that’s a skill I developed AFTER being banned from gay libertarian utopia of freedom “PayPal” made “quick books” for no discernible reason. True story

Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You cannot train dam-building into them or out of them any more than you can with a beaver. A beaver wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Whatever you see people build, that's what they wanted to build from the sticks they got in the river they were in. Stop pretending you can change it.

Whenever I feel there might be a conflict, or if the neighbor likes to be difficult I will always get a survey first before even saying anything. Once that’s in hand I will then let them know I am planning a fence or doing something else. I feel that way they can’t argue with the facts but sometimes they like to anyways. This woman knows the fence isn’t on her property and even avoids it by a few feet. Yet she starts removing the fence as it’s being built, would you stand for this? How do you stop someone who won’t respect the lines? I think the best way is to document everything with paperwork and video. Install a camera so there is proof they are doing what they are doing. I always try to cover my end that’s why I always have cameras everywhere. I never know when I might need it. If I end up in court then it’s no longer here say with evidence. I try to avoid confrontation as much as I can but sometimes it’s unavoidable. I’ve always lived life the way I see fit and I try to always do the right thing. I refuse to let others dictate how I do things especially if my way is proven to be effective. Dealing with stubborn neighbors can be drab but eventually it will work out, it’s the time in between that’s frustrating. The last time I did the fence. The neighbor at first tried to didn’t like the idea she would have a fence on one side of her driveway in case she opened the door and hit it. my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. Every song release is a big deal. This song has waited a long time to have its moment. I remember when Sara, Sam and I wrote Fragile (the same day we wrote another song called Madness), it held a special place in my soul as a human. So much so, that it kept disappearing from different projects as if to wait for the right moment to be introduced to the world. Being on Evergreen, song release number 3… it’s crazy how things work themselves out for the best when you trust the process. I always wanted to change the lyrics of the first line because I was afraid it wouldn’t make sense. But the more I worked with it, the more personal it became, and the more truth it carried. I would tell you what it means to me, but I want to hear how all of you connect with it first, so I’ll just say this… This one is for anyone in a season of life where the structure of you that you’ve built for the world needs to take a break and make space to care for the human inside. Whether you have those people, or that person in your life that loves and supports that human, or you’re looking forward to meeting that person someday, this is for you. You deserve to be the human you are, and you deserve to be loved and seen for that human. And if you haven’t felt it yet, I can’t wait for you to feel what it’s like to find someone who makes you feel safe enough to be Fragile.

🦊 people that come to the music shows will know this but every single thing is awkward to me 🦊 when i did cover stages or something like that in the past, the members would all be at the side of the stage so it wasn’t awkward at all but because i think of it as me really being alone on stage, i kinda feel like it’s more awkward

When a human plays chess, they are performing a completely different kind of computation. They don't do the same things, they don't investigate the same possibilities that the artificial chess playing machine does, because the artificial one is capable of looking at billions and billions of possibilities, whereas the human can only look at hundreds or something. They are doing something completely different. Another difference is that the human can explain, can write a book later, having become world champion, can write a book saying how I did it, as the computer program that beats the world champion can write no such book, because it has no idea how it did it. It was just following a program. I was doing this and that and that and none of that is illuminating. Also, third thing, the chess player can decide I don't want to play chess anymore, from now on I will play Go or from now on I will play tennis. If commanded to play chess, the functionality will deteriorate completely. Those things are different. What we want in an AGI is that it behaves in a way that cannot be specified in advance, because if you specified it, you would already have the answer.
