Lanterns are space cops, officers of the cosmic law... what they do is an honor and self-sacrifice to protect the innocent in the galaxy from the dangers within it Ala Black Forrest theory. Ego and self-centeredness are not acceptable. These are the ideals a rookie should learn... their lives and past stop being their once they put the uniform... and they do it... Because they are HEROES WHI SHOULD INSPIRE US TO BE BETTER! Not to be like us...

He says, “I’m upset with NATO,” or “I’m upset with Nazis in Ukraine,” etc. And so we in the West say, “Well, maybe if we give him this or do that, or give him a little more of Ukraine, then he’ll calm down.” But it has nothing to do with what he wants. All he wants is to save his own skin. And to save his own skin, he needs to be in power. And to be in power, he needs this war. We’re almost negotiating with ourselves based on this fake stuff that Putin puts out there. And he has a reason to put it out there. Why does he put out this NATO and Nazi stuff? He puts it out for public consumption. Because Russian people need something to hang their hat on. They can’t just say, “We’re having a war for no reason.” They need a reason for the war.
