Legit question: What happens when multiple people exit the concession at the same exact time? I mean stadiums are packed. I can just see people getting charged for the wrong things. Video from Matt Bogosian

Multiple cameras following you at all times with each camera having the capability to pick up multiple people with facial recognition. The stadiums that have this already have a cutoff where only a certain number can be in at a time. But it’s still way faster than normal concessions.

It’s crazy man. The predators have this technology as well and I’ve put it to the test I.e. grab a couple items, put one back, grab another item, put two back, leave with 1 item and every time I’ve attempted catch it overcharging it never slipped up Very convenient

What technology can they use to shorten the line for the bathrooms?

Vanderbilt and the predators both already do this. There are turnstiles you have to tap your card to enter, and then you leave through turnstiles as well. Never had any issues at either

This will last one game fraud is way too rampant and these systems are so easy to defeat.

The current Nissan stadium has this an it doesn’t work 100%. I’ve went through and been charged for extra items, like I got a bottle water and was charged for that and food items. Didn’t realize til after game and checked bank statement to see how much I spent at the game

they have these at United Center. they’re pretty legit. but don’t be fooled by these magician’s slight of hand. the cute technology is supposed to distract you from the fact you’ll be paying $45 for a beer.

They do this at MLB stadiums everywhere too

Titans need to be like the Falcons with sensible concession prices. Free refill on Cokes until 10 minutes in the 4th quarter in the new building. High end over hyped technology is not a needle mover with me. Still have this for fans.

The little ceasers at the current Nissan stadium has this. It’s weird and I always feel like it’s not going to work right. I had a dad and son enter before me and my son and I wondered what would happen when one of the kids picked stuff up. Do they assign kids with adults?

Other venues are already using this and have been for awhile, so I don’t think there will be any issues.

The lines at the current stadium work perfectly. But this is system is at many airports and works perfectly.

Then when you get overcharged for an item you never got, you will be on the phone with customer service that’s based in India.

My local arena tried this and it failed miserably. Nobody liked, nobody used it. Atlanta has one and I never have seen more than 1 person using it

“Frictionless concessions” is just another word for mark of the beast. Also, a concession is a decision you make for a lesser deal than you currently have. So giving your money up for concessions is a losing deal.

They have this at the Rogers Center in Toronto. Packed building, no issues. Technology man.

I’d rather wait in line & get checked out by a person who needs the job than be under surveillance. This isn’t liberty or convenience it’s another peg in heading towards a surveillance system. Just my opinion, but this tech wants us to be normalized by its infiltration.

It’s used in Seattle at the Mariners and the Kraken and no issues from what I have heard from friends that have gone to games there.
