For months, many of us warned that the Biden administration was undermining Israel behind the scenes. Now we have proof. In a bombshell exposé aired by Israel’s Channel 13, nine senior Biden officials admitted: They actively considered trying to force Netanyahu out of office during the war. They withheld weapons Israel needed while fighting Hamas. They colluded with Arab states to pressure Israel into making irreversible concessions to the Palestinian Authority, even while Israel was reeling from the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, and while the PA continues to fund terrorists. They sabotaged a normalization deal with Saudi Arabia by demanding political conditions that no Israeli government could have accepted while under fire. At every step, the Biden team put domestic politics and progressive ideology ahead of Israel’s survival. And yet, Biden’s officials still have the audacity to cry about being “offended” when Israel dared to call them out. They also seem to be so proud that Biden told Iran "Don't," they forgot that Iran did and when it happened, America's response was to tell Israel to show "restraint." Putting aside the State Department’s 80-year legacy of failure when it comes to Israel, what strikes me most about this interview is that they are proud of what they did. They reflect on their failure to achieve anything meaningful and lay the blame squarely on Netanyahu, as if making yet another ceasefire deal with Hamas wouldn't have led to more bloodshed down the line. But most importantly, what I didn’t hear in this entire interview was an apology. No apology for the repeated ceasefire deals they forced on Israel. No apology for empowering Hamas to survive long enough to carry out the October 7th massacre. No apology for the policies and pressure that directly contributed to the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Most people don't even remember this but Israel had an 11 day "war" with Hamas in May of 2021. Biden called Netanyahu at least 6 times over those 11 days and according to the White House spokesperson "The president conveyed to the prime minister that he expected a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire." Has a single person taken responsibility for that decision? Not that I know of. All I can say is thank G-d they’re gone. Watch the full episode below 👇
