Suspected impaired driver flees deputies in Putnam County with his two children unsecured in the car Deputies observed Montrell Lewis swerving and crossing the median Thursday night and attempted a traffic stop. Lewis fled, took a back road, and was stopped only after his truck got stuck. Inside the truck, deputies found Lewis’s two children, 51 grams of oxycodone, and 302 grams of marijuana. Lewis was booked and the children were released to a family member.

Saint Mary’s 6’4 Sophomore Mikey Lewis has been one of the best early mid major prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft this season. Through his first five games Lewis is averaging 21/4/4 while shooting 58% from three on 6 attempts a game. Lewis has also been a major part of Saint Mary’s 5-0 start. Obviously there was Lewis on the inside, which I don't think he expected that Max was on the outside of me. And so there was a little bit of contact and then I went on the dirty side of the track, no grip at all. And I couldn't really stay there as the angle with Lewis was just impossible to make a corner. So I had to go straight, but it was quite stressful. I really thought the race would end not only for me, but also for Lewis and for Max, but mostly for Lewis. And actually, you know last season and before that with Mercedes, there was all those sort of conversations where Lewis was trying to push the team in [a] direction with the car, the team were pushing back against Lewis and they didn't exactly make loads of progress. I think Lewis with his experience is going to be really vital to push Ferrari in the right direction and to try and win a championship with them.
