It's a really powerful thing to able to overcome our arrogance as humans and understand that wisdom could be found in every corner of nature.

Makes me think of experiences in my own life with animals and also disabled people. All they ask for is just some recognition of who they are, while being treated with respect. When you sincerely try to do that, you they will stand in your corner for eternity.

Here's an update from 10 years later.

This is beautiful. Some of the happiest and best animals I've had are the ones who I sit down with and talk to like an actual person and not just give commands to. Speak to your animals, and they understand more than you know. God creates such amazing creatures 🙏
