I think it is also the Culture. As an Indigenous person, with a "WE" Culture, growing up in a Western "ME" Culture, it has been harsh to navigate. I now see a much more similar "WE" Culture in China CARING for the entire Population, & using Authority in a way that makes their population feel safe & secure. Of course it is easier to see that Trust comes from ACTIONS that have made policies that create both a healthier & more prosperous Quality of Life,, rather from Exploitation or to take Disadvantage, as is the practice in the West where Materialistic Values supersede all others! There is no way I would have the same surveillance system in the Western Nations!

This will be the new lesson for my Daughters (3 and 7).
