Lest we forget

One of the most moving endings of any programme I've seen. It's the element of surprise - I never expected a comedy to end like this

That final 'over the top' scene was shot in the studio next door to the main audience recording just as they ran out of recording time. The director wanted to do a take two, but Rowan Atkinson said no - as it was too frightening for the cast involved.
