Tom Homan drops the mic on CNN’s Jake Tapper after he attempted to frame ICE as doing things “differently” under the Trump administration. “The laws are EXACTLY the same…If they don’t like what ICE is doing, CHANGE the law.” TAPPER: “Well, I think some of the issues that they’ve raised have to do with ways that ICE is doing its job differently now than they were doing it, even in the first Trump administration…” HOMAN: “The laws are exactly the same. Let’s talk about the masks.” “You don’t see ICE wearing masks inside the airports because they’re not on the street arresting criminals. You got the agitators who cross the line and threaten ICE agents.” “The same people in the Democratic Congress that want ICE to take off the masks are the same people who say ICE is going to shoot people inside airports. I mean, you can’t have it both ways!” “So if you want ICE to take the masks off, the threat level has to decrease. It’s an 8,000% increase in threats against ICE officers. And that’s because a lot of the rhetoric coming from the Hill.” “Stop calling ICE Nazis and racists. Stop saying they’re going to shoot people inside airports. That’s going to drive the threat level down. And we can talk about masks.” “So, you know, we got to work together on this, but ICE is doing the same thing they’ve done during the 40 years I’ve been doing it. Again, they’re enforcing the laws that they enacted. If they don’t like it, change the law.” “The law hasn’t changed. The difference is, under the last four years of Joe Biden, they weren’t enforcing the law. Now ICE is actually enforcing the law, doing their job, and they don’t like it. If they don’t like what ICE is doing, change the law.”

A new misinformation campaign is being spread by Democrat influencers saying ICE agents aren’t real law enforcement officers Legal experts break it down “Are ICE agents real law enforcement with real law enforcement powers? A lot of people are saying they aren't, but that's wrong: Independent of what you think of them, under the law, which is what we talk about here, ICE agents are real federal law enforcement officers. They actually complete their training at the same giant federal facilities where other agencies like the Secret Service, DEA, and Marshals train. As for the law, their authority to investigate and make arrests for immigration crimes falls under these two federal statutes, sections 1226 and 1357. But because they are sworn federal law enforcement officers, they also have broad Title 18 authority. Title 18 being the the general code of federal criminal laws in the US. And this is a big point of misunderstanding for people. A lot of people think that ICE only has authority for immigration related offenses. And while it's true that ICE's main mission is to enforce immigration related crimes, they won't be stopped on a bank robbery. For example: They still technically have the legal authority to arrest for tons of different federal crimes committed in their presence. Because they are sworn federal law enforcement. This is how we see ICE agents in the news arresting for things like obstruction and assault, even though these aren't specific immigration offenses. And because tons of people in the comments are getting this wrong, this is just an important clarification for you to know.”

What You’re Not Being Told About Migrants and Crime in Our Cities: Exclusive Reports. The other day I spoke with a migrant from Africa I’ve stayed in touch with since he arrived in the U.S. He went to school here, worked as a manager, pays his taxes, follows the rules, and contributes to the country. I asked him how things were going in his town — which I won’t name — and he told me ICE is detaining any migrant they come into contact with, even those with no criminal records. He said almost all of his friends are gone. According to him, agents are approaching migrants, greeting them, and if they respond with broken English, they’re taken into custody. I confirmed this with multiple federal sources — this has become a numbers game, and agents would rather focus on actual criminals. As someone who has risked my life exposing violent migrant gangs and cartels across NYC and the country, I can tell you this: gang members are still walking freely while ICE targets hardworking, law-abiding migrants. Meanwhile, the public and even authorities remain focused on trivial things — like counterfeit bags — instead of real threats. NYPD officers I’ve spoken with are extremely confused about what’s going on. They see the same gang members repeatedly brought in or arrested, and yet nothing ever happens. Officers feel frustrated because the system isn’t addressing the real threats while law-abiding migrants are being swept up unnecessarily. In fact, some migrants are some of my best sources. Some of my stories have led to massive federal operations and arrests. It’s because of them that real action has been possible. These migrants were invited here by former President Joe Biden. Yes, they crossed illegally, but when the President tells people “come,” they’re going to come. I have no problem with migrants who follow the law and contribute to this country — they are not the problem. And honestly, I’m a little confused about who’s giving President Trump information — or the wrong information — about what’s really happening out here. The reality on the streets does not match what’s being reported, and it’s crucial that he knows the full picture. By Leeroy Johnson . For licensing email [email protected]

🚨BREAKING: (Chicago suburb) An ICE agent just shot a protester outside the Broadview ICE facility… and then drove away. In the video, ICE agents were leaving the Broadview ICE facility when one agent stopped, aimed a pepper ball gun at a protester, who was standing on a public sidewalk… not blocking the vehicle, or obstructing anything… and shot them in the abdomen. Then, they just kept driving. The protester had to be treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Now, imagine if an ordinary U.S. citizen pulled up, shot someone with a pepper ball gun, and drove away... Police would be looking for them. There would be arrests, charges, and headlines calling it what it was… Assault. But when it’s a federal agent? And this isn’t even the first time something like this has happened. We’ve watched ICE agents assault protesters with pepper spray, from their vehicles, and keep driving. We’ve watched people exercising their constitutional rights become targets. We’ve watched it happen over and over again. So, where is the accountability? Peacefully protesting, on a public sidewalk, is protected by the First Amendment. Using force against someone, who poses no immediate threat, is a direct violation of that right. And every single person in this country should be demanding answers. Because if federal agents can shoot a peaceful protester, drive away, and face no consequences… Then we no longer have equal justice under the law. We have one set of rules for the government, and another for everyone else.

🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent was just caught on video violently shoving a TEENAGER to the ground, in a Chicago suburb. But it gets worse… In Joliet, IL, ICE agents jumped out of their cars, racially profiled a man, began handcuffing him, and forced him into an unmarked vehicle that had its license plate covered. And they did all of this before even confirming who he was. As U.S. citizens began recording the incident, ICE agents started forcing them farther back, even though they were not interfering with the arrest. One of the agents looked at a teenager, who was just standing there and filming, and said, “Step back a little bit.” The teenager wasn’t interfering. In fact, a woman was standing even closer. And then, without warning, the ICE agent violently shoved the teenager to the ground. Moments later, another ICE agent pulled out a taser and threatened the legal observers, despite them remaining away from the vehicle, and not interfering. And after all of that, about 20 minutes later… ICE released the man they had kidnapped because they realized he was not undocumented. Think about how insane that is… A man was detained, handcuffed, and taken away before ICE even confirmed they had the right person. That’s exactly why the Fourth Amendment exists… to protect people from unreasonable seizures by the government. And then there is the issue of an ICE agent shoving a teenager to the ground… Using significant physical force against someone, especially a teenager, who is not posing an immediate threat, not resisting, and not interfering… is excessive force. Federal agents do not get a free pass to assault teenagers because they are standing nearby. The First Amendment protects the right to record law enforcement in public, and government officials cannot use intimidation, or force, to silence people who are lawfully documenting their actions. This wasn’t just about one man being kidnapped…. It was about everyone standing there. A teenager was thrown to the ground. Legal observers were threatened. U.S. citizens exercising their constitutional rights were intimidated. And an innocent man lost 20 minutes of his freedom because ICE believes they are allowed to kidnap anyone they want. So, why are these ICE agents not being held accountable?

🚨BREAKING: (Chicago suburb, St. Charles) ICE agents smashed a handcuffed man’s face into a stone wall, then assaulted a U.S. citizen, multiple times, once they realized they were filming. In the video, multiple ICE agents have a man in handcuffs. While he is completely under their control, and not resisting, they smash his face into a stone wall. A U.S. citizen begins asking for the man’s name, while filming... note that he is not interfering, blocking the agents, or preventing the arrest in any way…. But that doesn’t stop the ICE agent from chases after him, while another agent threatens him with a taser. As the citizen is actively backing away, the agent continues walking toward him, and aggressively shoves him backwards. Even after the detained man is being escorted to the vehicle… and the legal observer is nowhere near the agents, or their cars… that same ICE agent continues shoving the U.S. citizen for no apparent reason. And while he is standing on the public sidewalk, another agent walks over and points a taser inches from him, and then turns around and points his taser at other innocent people, who are just standing and watching. Americans have a First Amendment right to record government officials performing their duties in public. Threatening, intimidating, or assaulting someone because they are documenting law enforcement, violates that right. And slamming a person face, who is handcuffed and not resisting, into a stone wall is excessive force. This is exactly why it’s important to always record anytime you see ICE agents. Because when there isn’t video evidence, we’re told to trust the government’s version of events. And more often than not, their version is filled with lies. But when there is video, the people filming often become the next target… just for documenting what is happening. And that’s what makes this so alarming. This is happening across the country, almost every single day. Americans are watching videos of people being thrown to the ground, beaten, threatened, shoved, tased, and intimidated by federal agents… while never seeing anyone held accountable. When a government refuses to investigate or discipline agents who violate people’s constitutional rights, it sends a message that they can keep doing it. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing. The Constitution means nothing if the people sworn to uphold it can violate it without consequence. And as long as this administration refuses to hold ICE agents accountable, Americans should expect to keep seeing videos like this… because impunity breeds abuse.

🚨BREAKING: A U.S. citizen in, Vancouver, WA, was pulled over by FIVE police cars for legally observing and documenting ICE agents… then had to explain the Constitution to the officers detaining him… And it was all caught on video. In the video, an ICE agent didn’t like being watched, called local police… Then suddenly, the U.S. citizen, exercising his constitutional rights, was surrounded by FIVE cop cars. And most ridiculous part? The officers who claimed “reasonable suspicion” for detaining the U.S. citizen, could not even answer this simple question… Is it legal to observe and record law enforcement? After refusing to answer, and arguing about the First Amendment for several minutes, the officer finally admitted… Yes. It is legal to observe and record law enforcement. So, if it’s a legally protected activity… then why was this U.S. citizen detained? Federal courts, across the country, have repeatedly recognized that the First Amendment protects the right to record and observe government officials… including law enforcement performing their duties in public… as long as you aren’t interfering with them. That means, local police, and ICE agents, don’t get to decide when that right applies… They don’t get to ignore the Constitution because they’re uncomfortable with public oversight. But this isn’t the only incident. Across America, we’re watching local law enforcement work alongside ICE, while ordinary citizens, journalists, and legal observers are being questioned, detained, and intimidated for exercising their constitutional rights. And the fact that a U.S. citizen had to educate the officers, who were detaining HIM, about the Constitution… should outrage every single person. Because if the people enforcing the law don’t understand the constitutional rights they’re sworn to protect… That puts every American in danger.
