In California, moving businesses are regulated by the state's Public Utilities Commission. So- find out if this business is properly licensed by the state. If not- report them here: And re:changing rates- file a report with state Attorney General @AGRobBonta's office and include the conversations your family had with their employees. "The PUC wants to ensure that you know the cost of your move in advance and that you do not pay an excessive price for the move. Before your move begins, the mover must inform you of a Not To Exceed Price for your move and cannot charge you more than that price unless you add items or request additional services not previously included in your Agreement. This Not To Exceed Price must be written on the Agreement along with any minimums that may apply and specific details of the move."

They just disconnected their number

EVERY TIME I call a business, city, state or government entity, it's on speaker & my voice recorder is on. If you are a public entity of any kind, my interactions with you will be recorded.

Probably will reopen under a different name! Moving companies are notorious for quoting one price, then jacking up the cost when they are at your new address and holding your belongings hostage. I guess they didn’t like his mother or him questioning their unscrupulous business.

Yelp already shut down comments and their website down. 😮

Oh hell no! These moving companies are known to change the price last minute. And the disrespect? Bet they aren’t laughing right now 😈

Mom and Gram - you have a wonderful son and grandson.

That’s shameful. Moving a mother & grandmother is stressful enough. But then to get kicked like that is irreparable. Shut Dave & his hoods down!

Number doesn’t work today…hmmm…
