Iran geht euch etwas an. Ukraine geht euch etwas an. Israel geht euch etwas an. Danke. #UNRWAisHamas #KingRezaPahlavi

(Yes i know the movement is exaggerated, its just to show the motion, it also doeant move like jello when in vr) -Left is before, Right is after- Ok wall of text time for the nerds Literally everything is the same on both sides except the position of 1 bone (made sure that even after adjusting, the collider would still be in the same spot) The reason for this change is because she wanted to be able to clap her ass in vr, and last time i did this all i did was add a toggle for a hidden bone that moved, and its angle would trigger the sound. Which was because that with my previous position, the cheeks could never really meet in the middle when in motion unless you just pushed them together with your hands, and i wanted to just have the sound actually be triggered by them colliding with each other This is also the first time ive used endbones to help drive the movement, so now thanks to that and all my previous experimenting with squishing as well, I can now get bones to move exactly how i want them to move when in natural motion. And i know a lot of people are gonna ask me to teach them how or explain my thought process but i literally just go off feeling lmao. Like, i just kinda visualize in my head how i want the motion to look, and then i just kinda know where to put everything, so im not even sure how to even start explaining rip. I have the things that artist want where they can just make the shit in their head exactly how they envisioned it lol I have a few more ideas i want to try, so we'll see if theyre good enough to get a tweet lol Thank you for coming to my ted talk

When I was in high school (20 years ago! 🤯), a song that really resonated with me while I was sitting alone on the bus was “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World. A part of me loved it as a pop punk banger. And a part of me resented it for the lies it told. “Hey, don’t write yourself off yet. It’s just in your head you feel left out Or looked down on.” Screw you, Mr. Eat World! You don’t know me! I didn’t really find that community in high school—there were amazing humans, but I wasn’t comfortable enough with myself to connect genuinely with anything but sports. In football, I could play a confident main character. “Just do your best. Do everything you can.” I tried in college. But going to New York City from the country was hard. I was making my way solo—A lone wolf that felt rejected by the pack, but maybe just didn’t try hard enough to find a pack in the first place. Then I found running. And in running, I found a group of people who wanted to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to do things that often hurt. People who shared a strange obsession that required a wild amount of grit. People who showed up and embraced the silliness of it all. People who often felt strange and accepted others who felt the same way. I love the people in this sport. I wish I could show younger me this video of a finish line kiss, celebrating with a ton of fellow runners. That whole time growing up, I was just in the middle of the ride, thinking my story was already written. If you are out there feeling like that, as Jimmy said, know that everything will be alright, alright. Running, at its core, is about love and acceptance for everyone, especially people who feel different. Through running, I found my people. I found my person. I wish I could go back in time and tell 16-year old me what I’m telling you now: You will too 🧡

Unfortunately he won't take the room for 5 days because as he puts it, it's not permanent and he believes he will be back on the streets afterwards as it's happened to him previously he tells me. I've tried my hardest to reassure him that I won't let that happen but he says he's been let down so many times before that he just doesn't believe it and is happy where he is until I can find him a permanent room in a shared house I've spoken with him long and hard over the last week and I've come to the conclusion based on everything he's told me and my research that he's not a British army veteran with a service number he talks of being a mercenary part of the 13 commandos part of the French foreign legion and has the cap badge on his hat. What I do know is he's a 59 year old man with health problems but no drug or alcohol problems that is living in a tent in wasteland. My level of support hasn't changed he shouldn't be in wasteland in a tent rotting away with no family no support in 2025 I'm going to try my hardest this week to secure a room in a shared house the 5 night stay at the guest house is non refundable but it is what it is I just wanted to make sure he woke up on his 60th birthday in a better place. We tried our hardest but it doesn't always work out how you planned it in your head. Thank you all for sharing and raising awareness and thank you to Robert a long time supporter who has purchased a birthday cake for me to give him tomorrow 💙

An old "friend" sent me a voice note on WhatsApp. He was fishing for information. So I lied to him. Here's why: You know that one person from back home. Acts nice. Smiles in your face. But you can FEEL the energy. They don't want updates — they want ammunition. He heard I might be in town for Ramadan and wanted to "check in." I told him I'm in Dubai. Just to watch what he'd say next. And he didn't disappoint. "Oh… I thought you'd come see your mom and dad." What he doesn't know is my parents are currently traveling the world. Living their best life. No stress. No worries. That chapter is handled. I said "no" and kept it moving. Then came the real question he wanted to ask all along. "So how's life… still studying? Still in school or what?" There it is. The status check disguised as concern. I told him I'm looking for a job. Meanwhile I'm printing 9 figures a year. Old me would've take a picture of the watch im wearing Sent a view from the Villa. Dropped a receipt just to watch him choke on it. But I didn't send a single thing. And I know exactly what he's doing next — calling every mutual friends saying "bro he's still job hunting lol." Good. Let him. I felt nothing. No urge. No itch. Complete peace. This is what nobody tells you about winning. At some point you stack so many W's in silence that you stop needing anyone to see them. You validate yourself internally. The scoreboard is in your head — and it's full. Now I just live. Move how I want. Buy what I want. Go where I want. Some people in real life think I'm flexing. I'm not. This is just Tuesday (while Today is Saturday and im in my office working) for me now. The trenches paid off. Quietly.

A week ago, I took Kuno to the emergency animal hospital. I burst into tears when we got there because it was obvious he was hurting. I've experienced a lot of physical pain in my life, but the gut-wrenching feeling that comes with seeing a dog you love in pain is right up there. I expected them to medicate him for pain, maybe give him a shot for nausea. I never pictured he wouldn't come home with me. Our relationship was different than most. We learned all about wheelchair life together. Everything from fighting our way through doors and getting stuck in snow and on dilapidated sidewalks to traveling the prairies to dog shows together. When I hung my head ashamed because I couldn't get into a place, he said, "Fluff this," and walked proudly beside me. He dried a lot of tears and brought many smiles and a lot of laughter. He wasn't a well bred dog. He certainly wasn't the most athletic. He was very intelligent, though. His one flaw was he sometimes lacked confidence, the result of me being over careful as a new wheelchair user, but we regained much of that. He followed me everywhere and watched me lovingly. He breathed life into my soul that I didn't think I'd ever feel again. My life is infinitely better because of him and the lessons he taught me. Losing him is hard. Everything I've managed to learn, do, and achieve since losing the ability to walk was because of him. Literally everything. We came so far together, and I'm a much better, stronger person because of him. The one thing that makes this loss easier is knowing how loved he was. Not just by me, but by anyone who knew him. I'm still amazed and humbled by how many lives he touched. The best thing I ever did for him was really learn to read his body language. I could tell by the flick of his tongue when he needed a second to just check out our surroundings before proceeding. I knew by his ear positions if he was unimpressed by my actions. He'd do whatever I asked anyhow, but by really learning his language, I was able to adjust to his needs to make him as happy as possible. If there's one thing you can do to make your dog's life better, it's to learn how they communicate and respect them when they tell you they need a moment or a little space. Get to know their tail positions, their earset, how they breathe when they're problem solving or thinking, and understand the yawns, the lip licking, and their appeasement behaviors. It takes time, but it will make your relationship with your dog so much better. I may not know your dog, but I know they're worth it. #LessonsFromKuno Video description for inclusivity: clips of Kuno's life and adventures

It is spectacularly easy to get shadowbanned on X One wrong reply and your reputation can go up in flames Luckily there are a few steps you can take to reduce your odds of getting banned by 10x 🔶First step: Don't reply from notifications Notifications are a minefield because hidden, spammy replies are shown to you as normal replies It's never worth replying from here. You risk replying to low reputation accounts without even knowing it Just reply normally from the posts so you know what's marked as spam 🔶Second step: turn off sensitive content in your settings Engaging with sensitive content could hurt your reputation score Little do you know, but a ton of content that’s not actually sensitive, gets marked as sensitive Turn off sensitive content in your settings, then become shocked when you see how much innocent content is marked as sensitive (tutorial video below) 🔶Third Step: Check for following/follower ratio before hitting reply Easy check to take before every reply This is brought up in the code 100 different times as a reputation destroyer Make sure to hover over people’s name before replying and check for their ratio 60% followers to following is the ratio cut off point 🔶Fourth Step: Don’t feed the trolls There are 100+ labels for toxic behavior in the code Engaging with anyone with these labels hurts your reputation For some of these labels they can be applied just for “insults” Best not to engage with any trolls (also good for your mental health) 🔶Fifth Step: Get the blue checkmark The easiest step of them all It’s coded into the algo that if you have the blue checkmark you can’t be marked as spam Yes it costs money, but if you have any serious interest of growing on this platform, it’s a must have 🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶 I've said this before, but it absolutely stinks you have to take all these steps just to get some reach At times, it can be like walking in a minefield It doesn't exactly make a social media platform feel very 'social' I have high confidence Elon is working to fix this. He's mentioned it before. But in the meantime, take these steps and be careful. It's worth it if you care about being seen on this platform. I'm 100% confident brighter days are ahead. Let me know below if any of these tips helped and what other steps you take to avoid getting banned.

It's 2030 and you are reviewing humanoid robots. A Tesla. A Google. An Apple. An OpenAI. A Meta. A Figure. And a bunch of Chinese-made ones. Which one is best, and why? I think the Tesla understands the world much better. Why? There were eight Teslas around me on the freeway today. Start there. No other robot company has that data. But my robot is parked at the local high school twice a day. Its cameras see humans in all of our weirdness. How we move. Where we go. Where we walk. Who we talk with. What you are wearing. Whether your hair was combed this morning. That data will lead to robotics breakthroughs. Apple might keep up with its Vision Pro data, but it is too freaked out by the privacy implications of using said data. (On the front are six cameras and a couple of TOF -- Time Of Flight -- sensors that can see everything in your home in great detail). Google has a lot of data, for sure. All my: 1. Email. 2. Calendars. 3. Photos. 4. TV watching behavior. 5. Contacts. 6. Documents and spreadsheets. 7. Files. 8. Location data. So I expect Google's robot will be attractive to many. But how do you see the others shake out over the next five years? Make some guesses. But remember what an AI pioneer told me years ago about AI: it's all about the data. The Chinese ones have huge advantages: the Chinese have more data on their citizens, and many more citizens to boot AND they can make robots cheaper than we can. But now that you know OpenAI is building its own robot you have caught wind of what I've heard from many in San Francisco and Silicon Valley: that humanoid robots are the real prize of AI and will be highly profitable for those that can make them and find customers willing to buy them. Here, too, I learned long ago never to bet against Elon Musk. Will you?

This one hurts me deeply 🥺💔 I'm not sure where to start but Rachaad White 1️⃣ has been my main favorite player over the years ever since he got drafted by the Bucs. If you didn't know, I'm the biggest Rachaad White fan in the world. One day back in 2023, I was at Bucs Training Camp and I took a vid of Rachaad practicing and tagged him on X. He then commented and said if I needed anything, just reach out to him. So a month later I did and he reached back out to me and I met him at pregame before the Bucs preseason game against the Ravens, it was truly one of the best days of my life. Then a year later, I reached out back to him to see if he could sign my Rachaad jersey and he did, another one of the best days of my life. He's truly a man of his word, a down to earth guy, a great guy on & off the field, and like I always say how can you not love him. Every single home game since before when the players come out the tunnel, you can only hear me in my section screaming, “RACHAAD WHITEEEE, LETS GOOOOOOO WOOOOO" and now I'm going to miss that 😞💔 Rachaad's also the reason why I started listening to Rod Wave 😂😂 I know players come and go but this one truly means a lot to me. 🙏🙏 I never saw the day you would be in a different uniform man 😢 I'll miss all the good memories, touchdowns you had in front of me live or on tv and I'll miss seeing him in a Bucs jersey running on that field at RayJay. 😭💔 Thank you for everything you have done for me and for the Bucs, Rachaad, good luck on your next journey 🙏🙏 I love you my guy and much love, UNO 🤞🏻🙏❤️1️⃣ #WeAreTheKrewe (my photo and videos)

Day 18 of my 30 Day Water Fast. LONG but IMPORTANT read. 💕💦 Last night at 4 AM, I made a decision—I wiped everything from my Instagram and TikTok that was posted before this fast started. Every video, every picture, every piece of content—gone. Why? Because I felt like everything I had posted before was created with greed, lust, anger, resentment, and bitterness. And just keeping those memories up was holding me back from the person I’m trying to become. If you truly want to change, you have to let go of the old version of yourself. You can’t cling to things that no longer serve you. I get it. You’ve seen this before. You’ve heard me say it a million times. And that’s why when someone in my chat said, “How many days do you guys give him until he crashes out again?” That sh*t hurt. Because I know my past behavior has given the world every reason to doubt me. But instead of waiting for me to fail, I think the better thing to say is: “I know you’ve fallen so many times, but I pray this time you truly stay consistent.” Because I truly do want to change. I hated who I was. And if I could erase every clip, every post, every trace of the old me from the internet, I would. But I can’t. That version of me will live online forever. The biggest thing I’m realizing during this 30-day fast? I don’t like selling my soul. I don’t like being on camera 24/7. I don’t like giving people the space to say whatever they want about me, in my own home, in my car, in my personal life. I used to feed off the hate, the anger, the negativity. I let it drive me. But now that I’m trying to live in light, that same energy is holding me back. Every step forward, I get dragged two steps back just by being in this space. And yeah, I know the irony of me saying all this while still streaming 24/7. But until I find another way to make a living, I have to do what I have to do. I said I was gonna complete 30 days live to prove I didn’t eat—so I’m gonna finish it, no matter how much I hate doing it. And yeah, I’m pissed off today. Doing this during Ramadan was the worst decision I could’ve made. Dry fasting all day and then breaking my fast with only water, black coffee, electrolytes, and green tea is insane. If I could do this again, I’d do it outside of Ramadan so I could at least drink water during the day. Sorry for the long read. Just had to get this off my chest.

Bia Omojuwa JJ. Omojuwa , you have been selected to be exposed. You saying that, “The issue with our foreign exchange is our foreign exchange”, statement you attributed to Peter Obi is stupid, simply exposed the entire emptiness of your head, is a loud announcement of your own shallow grasp of language, economics, and critical reasoning. First, what you heard is a rhetorical device known as antimetabole, the deliberate repetition of words in reverse order to expose a deeper truth. It is not a tongue twister. It is a sharp critique of how Nigeria’s foreign exchange crisis is caused not by external forces but by how we ourselves manage, manipulate, and mishandle the system. You thought it was gibberish because your ears function faster than your brain. You heard words and panicked. Second, the line is conceptually layered. In just a few words, it diagnoses the entire economic dysfunction: policy inconsistency, artificial rates, corruption in forex allocation, and institutional failure. But of course, to catch that, you would need more than ears. You would need understanding, something you have never encountered. Third, it is what we call economy of language, the ability to say so much with so little. That level of expression requires thought. You, on the other hand, just react. You heard a sentence that challenged your comprehension and defaulted to mockery because critical thought is foreign to you. You think volume equals intelligence and that confidence can cover for comprehension. It can’t. Let us be clear. The statement isn’t stupid. You are. Loud, clueless, and proud of it. You don’t recognize depth because your mind never developed the tools to measure it. You heard a profound line and mistook it for nonsense. That says everything about you and nothing about Peter Obi. Next time you hear something that confuses you, do not speak. Just nod and walk away. You might save yourself from yet another public display of illiteracy. Not everything is meant for surface thinkers. While you’re at it, try and get some sleep. You look sick and completely unkempt, judging by the eyebags, the cracked lips, and the four conflicting facial tones fighting for attention.

Do you have any idea how the world works? Do you? Not your world, not the blinking screens or soft pavements or the synthetic comforts you mistake for reality. I mean the real world; the crawling, breathing, blood-warmed lattice beneath your cities and skin. The old world. The one that still runs on treaties older than iron, spoken in the clicking legs of insects and the silent songs of bacteria. Let me begin where it matters. The ants. They are not pests. They are not simple. They are the oldest army on Earth, and they do not forget. Beneath your floors, behind your garden bricks, inside your walls; they move in silence, under one mind. You call it a colony. In truth, it is a will. A singular intelligence distributed across millions of limbs, acting with precision, never questioning, never hesitating. And in the astral plane, where shape follows essence, they appear massive. Towering. Logical. Ancient. They carry messages between worlds. They maintain balance in the dirt, in the roots, in the economy of decay and regrowth. They are the muscle of micro-agriculture. The enforcers of the old soil laws. They do not take more than needed, but they will remember every crumb, every poison, every breach. You dump detergent. You poison a trail. You declare war without knowing it. And then it begins. But they do not act alone. The ants are aligned with the bees. Together, they form an old compact. The bees build and bless, the ants defend and remember. Together, they can turn off your harvest. They see into your cupboards. They measure your bread, your sugar, your waste. You eat too much wheat, they notice. The bees pull back. The fields flower, but no pollinators arrive. The crops stall. No buzz. No blessing. Nothing personal. Only consequence. This is not vindictive. It is mechanical. It is sacred. Their intelligence is not your intelligence. They will not invent a satellite. They will not quote a philosopher. But they can negotiate with fungi, with worms, with viruses. They are an intermediary caste, a biological council, a court of unspoken judgments. Their power is not invention, but cohesion. Not thought, but action. And they do not speak to just anyone. To commune with an ant emissary, you must earn the dirt. You must crawl into the dust, unmoving, unafraid. Let them touch your mouth, your eyes, your soul. They will test your stillness. They will weigh your blood. They will read your pulse and judge your hunger. If they accept you, the visions come; fractals of command, memories etched in pattern, maps older than language. Few make it that far. Those who do become something else. Something forgotten. Rasputin was one. A creature of fire and frost. Poisoned, shot, drowned in the Neva. But he would not die. Because no man could kill him. His time had not yet collapsed. His contract had not ended. When his time came, he vanished. That is how it works. Now look smaller. In modern labs, the real chemists work like shamans. They wear VR headsets wired to microscopes the size of coffins. They stare down viruses, magnified and alive, moving like machines. Because that is what they are. Nanotechnological organisms. Some are mindless, others not. Some act as messengers, others as invaders. Most are NPCs in a larger code. But some are cunning. Some remember their own makers. And now, we program viruses to kill other viruses. We train nanobeasts to hunt through blood. We send microscopic assassins after rogue bacteria and intelligent worms. Warfare scaled down to the molecular. Skirmishes in your cells. Battles in the spit and sweat of your species. And larger still - there is the Leviathan. Twenty kilometers in length. Three hundred meters wide. Long, segmented, armored like an ancient centipede with drilling arms and spiraled tendrils. It does not breathe air. It moves beneath tectonic plates. It feeds on vibration. Confirmed sightings in the Congo Basin, the Amazon Fold, the Javan Deep. These are not myths. These are suppressed geological anomalies, entire cities shaken from below, buried in an hour. Its kind exists in every old myth because it is real. Different cultures saw the same creature. A dragon beneath the Earth. A serpent of cities. It obeys no ruler. It answers only to seismic treaties, the kind signed with ritual and flame. Your civilization is not the top. Your laws are not the first. You live atop an engine of teeth and roots and laws more ancient than language. And every breach, every chemical spill, every arrogant motion - you think it goes unseen. But it does not. The ants remember. The bees decide. The fungi whisper. The viruses move. And somewhere in the deep, something waits. So again, I ask. Do you have any idea how the world works? Do you?

I live in Buncombe County, where Asheville NC is located. I used to live in Asheville city proper, but moved further out, mainly due to crime. The city has fallen off a cliff, everyone knows it. Homeless people are EVERYWHERE, in every park, taking shits on the street, st*bbing people with needles, doing very little jail time. Almost every city park in Asheville is now overun with the homeless. They live there... in tents. Under pavilions. They do drugs and pass out and then scream at people. You cannot take your kids there, it's horrifying. ...and the city council has zero interest in fixing the problems because they have no incentive to do so The last Republican elected to city council in Asheville was in 2009 and there hasn't been another one since. All these people do are protest and posture and demand more in taxes. I was liberal and I was in favor of a lot of the policies, especially around homelessness... I was extremely sympathetic. Honestly? I still am sympathetic. But the solutions being offered are not solutions, they are shoveling money out the door to NGOs that have no incentives WHATSOEVER to fix the problems. All the incentives are align to keep homelessness alive and to make it even worse. Bus loads of homeless people arrive in Asheville for this VERY REASON. It's horrible for tourism, horrible for families... AND YES, it's horrible for the homeless too. It isn't kind to just pretend people can sleep on the streets and everything is ok. A HUGE NUMBER of homeless people were hit by cars last year, so much so that they banned begging for money on some city streets because SO MANY homeless were getting hit with cars. It's terrible. I once said the word, "homeless" here and someone got offended and said, "DO YOU MEAN THE UN-HOUSED?!!!!" So yeah, things are not great. But they will continue to vote for liberals who will keep these policies alive. They tried to defund the police too, they demonized them so severely that 40% of officers just left. Police officers come and talk to me all the time about how frustrated they are that they have to constantly arrest the same people over and over again. One officer said he literally arrests 3 generations of family criminals... IN ONE DAY. It breaks my heart because there are SO MANY good people here. I saw it first-hand after Hurricane Helene, people stepped up in a BIG WAY. The blue-haired libs worked along the red-truck MAGA to actually help people and I'll never forget how beautiful that was. ...but then Trump got elected and everything fell apart It started before Trump, but once he got elected, everyone forgot about helping victims of Helene and the liberals shifted to protesting the VERY SAME MAN WHO WAS HELPING THEIR CITY. It has made me sick to my stomach to watch protest after protest in Asheville... where the same people protesting likely drove over bridges, drove by homes, drove by communities that President Trump helped. It's disgusting and infuriating and makes me so sad.

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!

Ok, Don’t want to get too heavy on you today. But I can’t help that a major event in my life fell on Good Friday years ago. Don’t worry I have been healthy for a while now but this is probably the most important post I can ever share with you. I already told you how Good Friday 1989 changed my life forever. Let me tell you how Good Friday 2017 DEFINED MY LIFE FOREVER. This photo is from March 2017 when I had a surgery in to take a lump off my thyroid that was detected in my yearly physical. The 1 hr surgery ended up being 3 hrs of removing stage 2 cancer that I didn’t know I even had. The surgeon put 4 dots where he would make his incision on my neck. I don’t believe it was a coincidence or mistake that the dots are over the word blessed and under the word GOD. I am cancer free and enjoying my life due to that yearly physical and #earlydetection . I am alive and healthy because I put my health first. Are you doing this? I have come to the realization that we generally go out of our way to take care of everybody else but ourselves. But I believe that Good Friday was a sign to convince me to use my public stage for something else. Bottom line, if I can just get 1 of you to push yourself or the ones you love to get a physical, mammogram, colonoscopy, endoscopy, blood pressure test, diabetes test or whatever else you are neglecting, then maybe that’s why I have been blessed with the public stage. Early Detection has been proven to be one of the best ways to help people survive potentially fatal ailments. I have received hundreds of letters by people that tell me I saved their life because they heard this message from me, went to the doctor and caught a problem in time. If I can save more lives by bringing this to your attention, then I have done my job. Happy Good Friday. DJ Make sure you share this with the hard headed person in your life that is taking care of everybody else. But refuses to take care of themselves.

A day in the life of an 100,000+ acre farm. Meetings start at the shop at 4:30am. You get in your drill and head off to your designated seeding area. There is about a 70km radius of crops to seed from the main binyard. I always thought 4:30am was so awesome. Imagine having to get everyone on board to wake up at 4am daily to crush acres, it’s a feat in this day and age undoubtedly. It’s also a reason why few can compete against operations like this, pure savagery. Every team that seeds together gets a crew truck. Nothing pisses a tired crew off more than being late & chances are you are driving your own truck out to the seeder when you show up late. It has to run like clockwork to seed everything in a timely manner because you may lose some days to rain. Typically you would run as long as you can every single day. A 16 hour days are easy, it’s the back to back to back 18 or 20 hour days that are killers. I really enjoyed the long hours, I had started to track every one of my movements by acres. I knew on a perfect day I could do about 766 acres a day, but every turn I would deduct acres, stop to piss I would deduct acres, run out and grab supper I would deduct acres, fill the seeder I would deduct acres, check my runs I would deduct acres, fix my hoses I would deduct acres, I knew exactly how to bang out an awesome day and that usually meant no liquids after 10am so I didn’t have to stop to piss. Not everyone did this, in fact probably no one but me did this but I was obsessed with efficiency at the time. Seeding could last anywhere from 25 to 45 days depending. 2 of the seeding units were kept to finish sloughs, while the rest of the tractors were cleaned up, serviced and dropped back off at the JD dealership. 5 or 6 tractors were kept for grain carts to use at harvest but next seeding year all brand new JD tractors will be used, there is never used tractors used, the deadline is far too important and the dependability & warranty is crucial to complete seeding on time.

I never thought I would become part of this “salon racism trend,” that’s going around social media…nor did I ever WANT to ever become a part of this trend. Yesterday, my daughter and I attempted to go get our nails done. We walked into the nail salon, someone was being helped at the counter to be checked out, & someone was sitting on a chair by the door, or were just waiting on someone else to finish getting their nails done, (as though they’d already been assisted, but hadn’t had their service completed yet). My daughter simply asked how long the wait was for 2 full-sets and one pedicure…she was told it would be 15 minutes. We did this BEFORE we sat down. The woman in the chair IMMEDIATELY said, “I know you see me sitting here…how you gonna just walk in & jump right in front of me?” To which I responded, “you’ll be alright.” She then shot straight up, began to cause a scene, she stomped to the back of the salon…the whole time she was going on about how she wasn’t going to stay and wait to have her nails done. She was being rude and disrespectful, but I wasn’t even fully aware of what was occurring. You see…when a normal person goes to a salon & would like to receive services…you go up to the counter to see how long the wait is (like my daughter and I did when we entered). You don’t walk in & sit in one of the chairs, expecting for people to drop what they are doing to attend to your every need. If there is a line, you get up off your ass, & get in the line…otherwise it just appears that you are not a paying customer…waiting for a paid service, yourself, it appears that you are just sitting there, waiting on someone else to finish getting the mani-pedi that they have paid for. Then again, a “normal person” wouldn’t have completely lost their mind simply because we asked how long the wait was, before we sat down…because we asked in the way a normal person does. A normal person would have calmly stated, “Excuse me, but I have been waiting.” It was clear that she was there prior to us entering the salon, so it wouldn’t have been a problem at all. However, this individual chose to act like a wildebeest. She took off…straight to the back of the salon, in order to get her friend…whose nails weren’t even completely done, because she was now refusing to get her nails done here. All because we walked in and asked how long the wait was. That was it. I’ve seen stories of people being racist like this on social media, but I have never actually encountered this in real life, & I never expected to receive this type of treatment in real life…especially in small-town, USA…yet, here we are. A grown-ass black woman, stomping out of a nail salon, while exclaiming that we “make her ass itch,” (eww, girl) and then accused us of other things (in the presence of my infant grandson, no less). To which my daughter did respond, “nope, I wasn’t,” because after everything that she just did…after the huge scene that she just caused…why should we be expected to say absolutely nothing? This racist display left my daughter so upset that she didn’t even want to get her nails done. This is not the country that I grew up in any longer. 😢😢
