My best friend’s dad was a 6’5” ebony man. He ate his cereal out of a salad bowl. Half a gallon of milk, half a box of cereal, using a spoon three times that size this little woman is complaining about. It was a weekly event during basketball season. We’d hang feet off the ground by his dads biceps during penalties, quarters, any break in play, and we’d just laugh our asses off! His arms were twice the size of our torsos.

I use a regular spoon because we didn't have fancy silverware when I was a poor kid. We had knives, spoons, and forks. But I'm not going to criticize anybody who would use that utensil for cereal OR soup or whatever.

The thing that triggered me most about that TikTok was the use of the word "obnoxious". I cannot, for the life of me, fathom how utensil selection could possibly be described as "obnoxious". Weird? Yeah. Genius? Yeah. Unremarkable? Yeah. Obnoxious? Hell, no!

The second I saw that ladle my FIRST thought... "That's a great size for cereal"

Yucky wife. She should be grateful that he brought her something that he thought would be useful in the home - whether she thinks it's useful or not she's unappreciative of the gift and of a husband. Women need to understand - support your husband and appreciate what they bring and not be critical of them. I was gonna say soup - that's the best spoon for eating soup I've ever seen. Why didnt she see that? Believe me if the husband walks in with a loaf of bread or a spoon or whatever he thinks would be good for the home say thank you ! that's sweet honey🤗. Give him a kiss. Women : never take your husbands for granted and men never take your wives for granted be grateful for the marriage and do your best - through ALL of it - to treat each other with respect and kindness.
