Combat seemingly being more about intentional attacks rather than button mashing is nice, but I fear it inherits the worst aspect from Melee 3.0, the very poor "impact feedback" on attacks. Currently without seeing damage numbers it feels like you aren't hitting anything.

I really wish hitstop could be added to the weapons so they have more impact, especially bigger weapons. There is no case where hitstop doesn't make things feel better. My biggest gripe with Warframe's melee by far

Would it be possible at this stage to add enemy flinch animations? Rn when they get hit by melee weapons and just stand there it kinda looks wonky.

I hope in the final build the enemies are more aggressive and parrying has a shorter time window.

great work done by the team, just couple notes: why the AI just stand back waiting to be hit one at a time? they are not attacking. Also the hammer is lacking a bit of impact on hit unless it's the last to kill. And shouldn't the drifter have some jeopardy in combat?
