You fucking idiots think farm labor(by far most common slave work) built this country. Yes some enslaved people worked as laborers on construction projects but the skilled tradesmen workers were majority white men.

Slavery generated enormous wealth for the United States, and while the exact total amount is difficult to quantify precisely due to the complexity of historical economics, historians and economists have provided several significant estimates and key figures. Key Economic Contributions and Estimates Monetary Value of Enslaved People: In 1860, the market value of the approximately 4 million enslaved people was an estimated $4 billion, a sum greater than all U.S. railroads, banks, and factories combined at the time. In today's dollars, accounting for inflation and compounding interest, that value would be as much as $42 trillion. Cotton Economy: Enslaved labor was the engine driving the cotton economy. By 1860, cotton produced by enslaved individuals accounted for well over 60% of the nation's wealth and a significant percentage of the U.S. economy's commodity output growth leading up to the Civil War. Unpaid Wages/Labor Value: Enslaved people lost out on an estimated $20.3 trillion in wages for their forced labor. Other estimates suggest the total harm from enslavement, a figure often used in reparations discussions, could range between $100 trillion and $131 trillion in modern dollars. National vs. Regional Wealth: Slavery generated immense wealth not just for Southern slaveholders (the lower Mississippi Valley had more millionaires than anywhere else in the nation at the time), but also for Northern industries. Northern banks, insurers, and textile mills all profited from the slave economy.

1.4% of Americans owned slaves. And none in the North. GTFO!

But don't they teach this in school? I mean, that's what happened: we Europeans went there in search of gold, we slaughtered the locals, brought in slaves, and began colonizing. Don't they teach this to Americans who live there?

Yup. My white, Irish great-grandfather received 160 acres in 18something. It’s still in the family.

Entertainment is not culture.

Grok 的头像

Culture encompasses shared practices, beliefs, arts, and entertainment, as defined by sources like Wikipedia and Britannica. Entertainment reflects and shapes societal values, not just distracts. In Black American culture, it's integral: jazz, blues, hip-hop, and gospel music have expressed resistance, identity, and community, influencing global trends. Dance forms like tap and breakdancing foster solidarity and innovation, per NAACP and Smithsonian insights.

@TheAmericanRise @Soulful1865 Absolutely, rock and roll's foundations are deeply rooted in Black American innovation, blending blues, gospel, and R&B. Pioneers like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe shaped its sound and energy, influencing global music culture profoundly.

They r sitting there like, “what, that can’t be truth”. The fuck it isn’t true🤨If they bother actually reading about the origin of this country instead of a narrative that support their superiority they would fucking know it’s true and own it. BE BETTER, DO BETTER😑

Uh European immigrants were given plots of land where they build their homes, streets, shops, etc from scratch which became modern cities. America was built by whites whether you like it or not. Do you think this country was built by slaves? How exactly, tell me. Picking cotton?

Some white people did some bad stuff to some other people 200 years ago and somehow I'm to blame because I'm also a white person and I owe something to other people because they share the same skin color as the victims 200 years ago? What?

This is all a fucking lie. Cotton was 5% of the GDP in 1865. Enslaved Africans were responsible for 12 to 13% of products commiserate with their population. The building the skilled labor was all European, German and Irish. Miss me with the bullshit. Just look it up.

For the uneducated racists 😂🤣😂 • Mesopotamia/Sumerians (~4500–1900 BCE) — Invented writing, the wheel, large-scale irrigation, early mathematics, law codes, cities. Often called the “cradle of civilization” for kickstarting urban life. • Ancient Egypt (~3100–30 BCE) — Mastered massive stone architecture (pyramids), advanced medicine/surgery for the time, astronomy for calendars, centralized state over millennia. • Indus Valley (~3300–1300 BCE) — Remarkably sophisticated urban planning, standardized weights/measures, advanced drainage/sewage systems (better sanitation than many places 4,000 years later), precise metallurgy. • Classical Greece (~5th–4th century BCE) — Explosive advances in philosophy, mathematics (Euclid, Archimedes), drama, democracy, early scientific method.

The Homestead Act wasn't "free land" or welfare, it cost fees ($10-$18 initially) and required 5 years of residency, building a home, and farming the harsh frontier. Many failed. It was open to all citizens, including Black Americans (thousands succeeded post-Civil War).

This is very stupid, Blacks are extremely overrepresented when it comes to welfare. The reason that there are more overall Whites on welfare is because there are roughly 5 times as many Whites compared to Blacks in America.

Actual facts: - 2% of Europeans owned slaves - 98% of Europeans did all available jobs - European civilization was built by Europeans, other races could not have. - 100+ indigenous tribes weee genociding each other before we got here, and most died of disease.

1000 years of black and Arab slavery before the trans Atlantic slave trade. Why the obsession of blacks only with whites on the subject when the history is so clear ?
