I went to Josh Burns electorate office today & asked a question millions of Australians are thinking: Why are ISIS-linked families being brought into Australia while Jewish Australians still live behind armed guards, fortified schools & security walls because of the terrorist threat ? If you're going to accuse your debate opponent of a logical fallacy, you better actually have an understanding of what that fallacy is. Douglas Murray repeatedly accused Dave Smith of appealing to authority for simply quoting people and trying to hang them with their own words. This was after Douglas Murray spent the first 45 minutes admonishing Rogan for not talking to the people Murray considers authoritative experts. This clip is also a great example of Murray's tactic of constantly interrupting Dave Smith in the middle of making a great point he can't refute by going on a nitpicky tangent to derail the conversation and avoid having to respond directly to it.
