Let us not ignore these twins

PLEASE don't stop with these.

Double Shirley, no Laverne.

My brother married a Quebecoise woman, and her bridesmaids were identical twins named Guylaine and Mylene who looked not unlike these two.

@cselley I’m so invested in these videos. Never stop!

Fun fact: the kid and the twins are singing the same song

Well same melody, different words

I'm French Canadian. The show is a bit before my time, but it's clear that they're singing the same (verse?).

I am enjoying watching and learning about Quebec's past culture. Hello from British Columbia. These are treasures.

There’s only one way to solve this now. Québécois dance off!

What is going on up there?

Notice on the mantle the rifle. The flint lock system was invented in France in 1777. So if some people are allowed to carry traditional weapons in Canada, anyone of French descent should get to carry a rifle. Make sense 😎👍

Love it 🥰

They were on that TV show…Shirley and Shirley

Ahhh the whitest of the whites I have found the pinnacle

These songs still exist in French folklore. Here's Tri Yann, a Breton folk band that had national success in France in the 90s. The lyrics are almost identical : 'I hear the wolf, the fox, and the weasel singing' vs 'I saw the wolf, the fox, and the hare passing by.'

Or these adorable kids!

Keep these coming! 🫡✨🍁🙏👀

Is it a thing in Quebec that every town has its own variant of this song?

Whatever fuckin POS AI put this lunacy into my algo can suck my dick

Not AI

Are these AI?

I want to drink with all these people

Is that Ted Knight?

@HabsOnReddit new source material

Now I suppose those two are boys too...

Everyone has been going on about the evil rumpelstiltskin dance but these songs are far scarier lolol

pretenders

I am French and learned this song when I was a kid, plus a few others I recognized in the other videos.

@MinuteLibre ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

wouldn't

NHL in the 1970s: “if we give them a second hockey team, maybe they’ll stop doing this.”

More! I sense the NEXT BIG THING: a revival of tacky 70s Quebecois music, whaddaya think?
