Before Governor Adeleke became the governor of Osun state, APC had run the state to the ground. Civil servants and pensioners were being owned. The most pathetic aspect was that civil servants were paid half salaries. When Adeleke assumed office, he ensured transparency in the finances of the state. He blocked all the loopholes and there was enough money to pay workers their full salaries. Osun workers receive their full salaries as and when due. The era of public workers receiving half salaries ended with Aregbsola and Oyetola. Tinubu is using state power to help his party win in Osun state. Well, he recently said all is fair in politics. Osun have a choice. Let's see if they can make informed decision @davido

Sometimes, you need to let people know that you are not an easy bite. Did you notice how President Tinubu made a U-turn by ordering the EFCC to unfreeze Osun State's accounts within 24 hours? That probably happened because he tested the waters and realized the move was doing more damage than good. Instead of giving his administration any political advantage in Osun, it was beginning to create a negative image. Now imagine if it were Governor Fubara whose state's accounts had been frozen. I bet, it would have remained frozen till now. But everyone has seen that Governor Adeleke and his family are not ready to back down. He appears determined to fight this matter to the very end, especially with the August 15 election around the corner. Hence the U-turn. According to the reports, President Tinubu even personally called Adeleke to inform him that he had directed the EFCC to lift the restriction on the state's accounts.
