A Chinese electric vehicle EV attempted to ascend an overpass. 😳😑 Unfortunately, the battery overheated, triggering a thermal runaway and causing the entire vehicle to catch fire. 😅😂

3. I've been mentioning this Kafkaesque 'Tesla doors staying closed' fire hazard since .. 2013 And nothing happened, so I started documenting A simple test: Tesla Y (dark) into another EV (white VW ID.6), at only 64 km/h - 40 mph Watch what happens to the Tesla driver door:

🇺🇸 Tesla Diner just dropped a full Cybertruck light show, coordinated visuals turning the trucks into a rolling LED spectacle. EV culture meets straight fire entertainment. Dinner and a light show.

VCFD firefighters are on scene of an electric vehicle fire in the 11600 block of Ventura Avenue, Ojai, involving thermal runaway—a challenging and hazardous condition. Thermal runaway in EV fires poses unique risks to responders, the public, and the environment. The safest approach is often to let the battery burn itself out while firefighters manage the situation from a safe distance, as direct extinguishment can sometimes exacerbate the fire. County of Ventura Ventura County Sheriff

Reports indicate that a major fire has occurred at ACME's BESS project in Rajasthan, with around 13 battery containers reportedly damaged. If verified, this could be one of India's first large scale BESS fire incidents, highlighting the critical need for rigorous system design, battery safety, thermal runaway mitigation, fire suppression, and operational safety protocols.

Since everyone posts Tesla's winning drag races, i'll post a real race between a Honda Civic that is an actual racer vs a Tesla. The average car at the drag strip will blow away any factory EV.

An unidentified truck driver dumped the thatching grass that he was transporting at the Christmas Pass in Mutare after it accidentally caught fire. The driver managed to throw out the burning grass before it could engulf the entire truck, and then disappeared from the scene. The Mutare Fire Brigade managed to contain the fire before it could spread to the nearby forest. The cause of the fire remains a mystery. Video: Tinai Nyadzayo
