There was no debate on Vaccine mandates in Canada and all opposing views were vilified, silenced, or deemed "unacceptable". After 3 weeks in the frigid cold weather last year protesters weren't met with civil discourse they were met with the hooves of Police horses.

This is a remarkable comment on freedoms in Canada as his colleagues are working diligently to remove aspects of freedom of speech from Canada. The freedom to say what you wish is fundamental. The freedom to protest is a given. My decision of course to listen is moot.

The cancellations of Christian preacher Sean Feucht's events across our country are a wake-up call. We must be willing to listen to those we disagree with, respecting diverse views and religious freedoms. Let's stand up for open dialogue in BC, not shut it down.
