If I might ask, are the worms a reference to something? I watched all of the dhmis episodes but it was a while ago and I didn’t quite understand everything.

no, it's got nothing to do with dhmis. dhmis was just the aesthetic and rough storyboard. the song and lyrical concept are totally divorced from the visuals. the song has been sitting around for awhile, and i shot all the visuals out of the slop cannon this afternoon. i have never used any video ai before today really except a couple free trials, so i wanted to give it a shot.
