Why Elon didn't want to be CEO: "[Elon] is at core, an engineer and a product guy. He has this great line where he said: "I realized you couldn't be fully in control of the product unless you were also in control of the company." He says he made a moral error, early in Tesla, where he was trying to have his cake and eat it too. He wanted to control the company without running the company. And that was the 2002 to 2008 era, where Tesla was just off to a really messy start. He was providing the funding. He was chairman of the board. But Martin Eberhard was CEO. Eventually, when Tesla was on the verge of death in 2008....Elon was pushed into the position of: "I have to be CEO. I don't want to be. It comes with a lot of chores. It comes with a lot of responsibilities. But if I want this company to be successful, I have to fully internalize and take responsibility for it." And that's what he did, even though he was also in the same position at SpaceX. The fact that these companies are improbable, iconic, and that he funded and led them both in parallel...it's like running a two minute mile twice at the same time. It is such a higher degree of difficulty than most people can conceive of, and the fact that it worked is still unbelievable."

This woman was in line at customer service. Her child is bored and restless and starts getting into things, he’s being reckless by standing on the cart that could tip at any moments the representative couldn’t take it anymore and asks her to get him under control fearing he could hurt himself. She blames the child in her defense and claims he has issues. The man seeing that the child straightened up right away knew it wasn’t the child that had the issues, it was in fact her style of parenting that was the issue. The way she took the barrier clip and left it on the floor says it all. Was it rude for him to have said anything, or was it truly concern for the child even though the mom seemed to be oblivious of what he was doing.

So the best thing for us was for us not to be around." His formal political campaign only launched in August 2010. He was assassinated two months later in October 2010. She was claiming asylum 4 years before this. She also leaves out that the real first time she ever came to Ireland was 2001. While heavily pregnant. She gave birth to her first child in an Irish hospital. Her daughter received automatic Irish citizenship. That is NOT a small detail to forget. She had her first child here in one of our hospitals. Why isn't that presented as the first time she came to Ireland? This was during the height of Ireland's birth tourism crisis. Remembering the great Dinah Washington who was born this week in 1924. Often called the Queen of the Blues, she was a profoundly influential vocal artist, especially on female rock and roll singers. Washington was noted for her excellent voice control and unique gospel-influenced delivery. At just 15, after winning a local talent contest, she began performing in clubs. By 1941–42, she was already appearing at Chicago venues like Dave’s Café and the Downbeat Room of the Sherman Hotel, where she worked with Fats Waller. While singing at the Three Deuces, a friend introduced her to Billie Holiday at the Garrick Stage Bar. For the next year she sang upstairs while Holiday performed downstairs, and during this time she adopted the name that would define her career. Baekhyun talked about Justin Timberlake's performance at Lollapalooza Berlin. While he plays Justin Timberlake’s song ‘Mirrors’. “There, I was dancing with people I didn’t even know…strangers. I was just so happy. It was the first time I ever felt like I was part of a performance while watching one. It felt so real and amazing. Everyone was dancing, just letting go, and that feeling…it was everything. While watching the Timberlake concert, I had this thought: ‘Right, I have to be cool on stage. She was literally in every corner of the globe. Even in Japan she did cars and candies commercials. This was pre-socials media and she was still omnipresent. That type of Star power doesn’t exist anymore! She ruled the world with a wave of her hands 👸🏼 I respect her soooo much because she did that at such a young age in the physical era of music. She did that where people actually went out to buy her music. Nobody at her age had such a cultural impact. Streaming platforms kinda ruined everything if u thinking about it. Because they distorted the perception of a real success and impact of an artist. Today’s kids don’t know a third of what the Britney Spears phenomenon was. She’s basically the formula, the industry before her was one thing, after her it was another in every aspect! Mind you, the mid tik tok dancers y’all praise doesn’t even have the 3% of her iconicness, fame and impact she had in pop culture. She sold 150 million records in PURE SALES and ORGANICALLY without internet, socials medias and streaming platforms, she’ll always be an icon & despite her life and retirement her music is STILL charts, being spun, sampled & trends on socials networks. And literally the 80% of the music industry is trying to emulating what she did. Britney will always be a reference, the blueprint, the buisness model. She changed the music industry and impacted generations of singers. Period.

This cat came in with some serious attitude. Even before he opened the carrier, she made it very clear she was not happy about any of this. The screaming, the biting, the full-on battle mode — she was not playing. I would’ve been absolutely terrified trying to groom a cat like this. But this groomer stayed so calm and patient the whole time, even while she was doing her best to fight him. He just kept talking to her like it was no big deal and gave her the funniest little nicknames while she was losing her mind. Some cats really do have main character energy, and this one was fully living in it. Have you ever seen a cat that had this much personality during bath or grooming time?

That was the saving grace – that people were aware that they were that young generation who were really against it. And so it worked very well for the world. And the Bed-In was just part of it, a definite part of it. It was a statement on a very theatrical level and I think it was very effective. We were artists and did it our own way. We felt very good about it then, and it was such an incredibly strange thing that we were doing. At the time it was a courageous thing to do. John was making the statement in a way that he was looking at the far, far future. I saw it in his eyes. He was saying, ‘OK this is what we’re going to do together.’ And we’re going to give peace a chance. To the world.

Remember how Blake Lively called It Ends With Us a “big beautiful summer movie”? I was the one that found the clip and at the time I was focused on her implicating Taylor Swift during that interview. But one thing that also stood out was the phrasing about what type of film it was. It was about DV not a summer rom-com. What she said was VERY bizarre and out of place. So we all just concluded it was more of her delusional and tone deaf press tour. However, I think it’s deeper than that. We made the connection that she thought this was her Barbieheimer moment with IEWU and Deadpool coming out at during the same time. How she kept cross promoting Deadpool, dressed in garish floral designer outfits, hawked her liquor and hair care, etc. Speculation is she wanted to be Barbie in place of Margot Robbie. Well, in a strange coincidence, Margot is starring in a movie called BIG BOLD BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY that comes out in May. It was announced early 2024 that Margot landed the lead role to this A-list film, produced by Sony. Am I tripping or……..🤔

mc: during wlgyt, a poster with chungseob's back reveal and i ask staff who was that but they didn't answer me. they didn't tell us until the end even we ask who is the actor behind it but no answer, it is bcs it's was a spoiler that needs a tight security? seonho: the director talk to me during our last team dinner that they made something like an album or something "i didn't include chungseob because i was afraid it would be a spoiler," he said. mc: your first appearance was during the closet scene right? and i was like oh? i know that actor is let me find it later but still i didn't recognize you. seonho: back then, it took almost 4 hours each time just to get the makeup and styling done. they had to attach each strand of hair one by one. so we put an incredible amount of time and effort into it and in a way, i was actually happy that people didn't recognize me. mc: and during the time that you asked permission for marriage you made a cute scene like- jungie: abonim~ mc: i heard that there's a lot of adlibs. seonho: it was bcs the director instructed me where to where to walk as other actors need to be seen on camera angles, so ofc the actors need to be on angle and while having their scene i came in while thinking 'i need to be close to my father in law while smiling' and then i started to walk towards them so i did the slapstick to fill in the gaps.. just like we do during rehearsal and the good thing about this is we filmed when IU said the "omonim~" first and i remember it to clearly and do it the same.

In my final post about #BadBunny’s #SuperBowl half time show: whoever was around in the end of 90s and early 2000s, surely remember the phenomenon #RickyMartin was in the U.S. and Europe. The #LivinLaVidaLoca craze was one of the biggest I’ve seen in my lifetime, something not even #BadBunny himself got close yet. And even at that level, and despite singing in English for the Anglo markets, #RickyMartin was never in a stage of the #SuperBowl . Even being bigger than anyone else in his peak wasn’t big enough for a Latino to be front and Center on that stage. Just few years ago, the #SuperBowl still thought even freaking #Shakira wasn’t big enough for their stage so she would just be allowed there if sharing the space with #JLo. That’s how far we came to see,in 2026, a Latino like #BadBunny singing in Spanish as the main act of the event. And the fact that Benito brought #RickyMartin, who opened the doors for the latino stars to do the crossover & compete on the same level as the English speaking mega pop stars, to this stage, was a beautiful recognition of the role Ricky had played for almost 30 years ago so this moment could be even possible today. And in a way, a reparation. TONIGHT was live history in so many levels. Again, #BadBunny could have made this concert all about himself, about his momentum, his career peek. Too many "redpills" in aggregate across my life, but in retrospect, it all began with Rush Limbaugh in my dad's Oldsmobile as a young boy. I couldn't even tell you the things he was talking about, let alone even understand half of them at an early age, but it was a forging of sorts that created real, lasting impact. I would hear those opening notes and vividly recall knowing something powerful was about to be transmitted over those AM airwaves. We would have myriad conversations over the chatter, but it was always there, sometimes we'd pause and listen, sometimes we'd just keep talking. Years went by before I learned that the song that opened his show was The Pretenders "My City Was Gone" but hearing it immediately transported me back to riding around with him, and still does. The song is still in heavy rotation for me, and every time I listen to the lyrics, his selection of this track becomes even more prescient.
