“But Serhat doesn’t deserve her.” Meanwhile, Serhat literally shifted the course of his entire life as a teenager, leaving behind everything he loved just so she could have what she wanted, even if that future didn’t include him. When he came back, he fought for her to stay in the mansion because he wanted her safe. He treated her better than anyone ever had. You might think it wasn’t enough, but he did the best he could, and Yıldız herself saw that! He stood against the clan. Against the norms. Against the culture. Against traditions. Against his mother. Against his brother. Against her own brother. Against the man she thought was her father. When he found out her family was fake, he brought her mother to her. And when he realized that woman was not the mother Yıldız deserved, he kicked her out. He saved her life multiple times. And no, before anyone says it, he was not the one putting her life in danger. Yıldız was constantly sacrificing herself out of love, and every single time he tried to stop her from doing that. People tried to take her away from him, and he never let that happen! Even when he divorced her and let her go, he couldn’t completely give up on her. You may call that selfish, but the man was terrified of losing her and believed he had no other choice. He gave up everything. Everything. And he is still ready to give up more if it meant she would be okay and with him. He didn’t care that people talked when she ran away with another man. He didn’t care when she got engaged to someone else. He didn’t care when she told him she didn’t love him and loved somebody else. Because he knew why she was doing those things. He knew she was sacrificing herself for him, just like he had sacrificed himself for her before. This is the same Serhat who learned that the blood feud was fake and immediately continued treating her like she was still his wife, because he never married her only because of that feud in the first place 🤷🏻‍♀️ He married her because, since childhood, he had been convinced she was his destiny! And the only reason he kept running away from her was to save her, not because he wanted to get rid of her. The same man who didn’t care whether she could give him children or not. The same man who said he wanted to build a life with HER, not a family. Meaning he didn’t want children. He wanted Yıldız. I genuinely don’t know what some people are watching. And if you don’t see what I see, that’s okay. We can have different povs but it is so obvious to me that there is something in this story that some people are completely missing🤷🏻‍♀️ Guess after all he doesn’t deserve her …

The great irony that this happen’s in Diviner’s Hymn… and the mirroring to Absolute Zeal is perfection. This is a god and goddess who are already in a religious marriage between gods, and she pursues him for healing which happens in the most sensual way. Despite their perceived opposing alignments, there’s an undeniable attraction and MC is stuck between her duty to her people but also her desire for Zayne. It adds an extra level of tension as to why she’s being so rough with him too - SHE kissed him and bit his lips before the kindled, she set a precedent for aggression and Zayne is matching her though not as roughly. Everything is consensual. I stand by the ritual has to be done to completion as he’s healing her, he’s not going to let her go without being fully healed no matter how much she thinks (or acts like she thinks) the worst of him, especially when they have been together for a while and intimate multiple times beforehand, so their relationship has more history and is more complex. I’ve said before how intimacy is easier to communicate desire and affection for ZayneMC after Acts of Service. This healing ritual IS an Act of Service communicated through Physical intimacy. There’s affection in this because despite MC thinking Zayne is at odds with her, he is healing her and giving her his power nonetheless. This scene already should make the reader question the intentions and unreliable narrative which only makes the later reveals make more sense. “Feel this and remember what I’m giving you” - feel what is between us and remember I’m the one healing you and giving you my power. It’s possessive and extremely sexy, but also quite explicitly putting it in her mind that “know it is *me* giving you this.” Why would he do this if he was set to be the man she thinks and misunderstood him as? Things are not straight forward and through the narrative we understand why they struggle in being direct, but as said earlier emotional intimacy and honesty are something ZayneMC work towards. Where their words struggle, their bodies cannot deny. “Accept it… this is only a power you can possess” - accept what I’m giving you and I’m only giving it to you. You are the only other person I deem worthy of what I have and I will give it to. Of course the intimacy is a big aspect of how the transference works, but this is also a reaffirmation of *him* giving her the ability to go against what she also perceives as *him* and he is willingly offering it to her for her own benefit. “I have answered your pleas and your desires… Yet I sense… An even deeper craving.” The ritual is done, he gave her what she pushed him for but they *both* still want more and he’s called out exactly what I said he would. It is the essence of “look at how your body is responding to me” - MC doesn’t want to admit she still wants Zayne, the standings she believes them to be on have put their union in a difficult position mentally and emotionally for her, but she can’t forget the man she adored and her want for him. Zayne reaffirms that, and it’s onto further reinforced in the lines akin to “you cannot get away from how I make you feel” in his sensing a “deeper craving” and them acting on it. Just as I said, he calls out the lust between them that MC has a habit of denying and playing with despite instigating and *teasing and pushing* Zayne. This is their pattern and it is consensual, Zayne is aware of it as they’ve been sexually active for a long time before these moments, so just like in Absolute Zeal he calls it out. The level of layers to this scene make it a perfect marriage of struggling emotional vulnerability, partnership, miscommunication, mythical godly relations (Hieros Gamos) and overwhelming mutual carnal desire which overrides everything at the end. Oh ZayneMC your writing is so incredible, and denying how these aspects converge oversimplifies the beauty and complexity of this extremely well written scene in how it illustrates their specific dynamic.

I brought it up to her kind of jokingly, but I was like, 'Can I try to f*ck him?' I was like, I need to see this. I was just so intrigued and so committed to figuring out what was going on.” “She laughed it off and she was like, 'Yeah, if you can get him to f*ck you. And he was like, 'Oh my God, yes.' Any man with the self-awareness, if you have a microp*nis, like, this is a trap, right? I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. It makes me still wonder to this day but I’m still glad I never opened the door.

Athena talked to us about her rivalry with Asuka and said she would like to have one more match with her. “Oh, man. Like Asuka is one of those people, that’s a forever rival for me. Like when we were back on the indies, we actually ended up wrestling at Shimmer Women’s Wrestling. That’s where we met. We had one of the hardest hitting matches I think I’ve had in my career then, and then fast forward to WWE NXT for the NXT Women’s Championship. Asuka is my yin to my yang. I really hope she’s not stepping away. I’ve actually been trying to get a hold of her because I lost a whole bunch of people’s numbers when I switched my phone and everything. But man, talk about someone who’s just the epitome of what legendary status is or what a living legend is. I, to some extent, don’t feel like people really understand how much she’s done for wrestling as a whole. Like from grinding on the indies to being like an independent contractor in Japan to getting signed to WWE. Not only that, like just excelling in WWE in every form and facet from match to match, but never changing who she was as a person, a character. I couldn’t be more proud, more happy for her. I hate her in that same breath, of course. I also feel like I have to have one more match eventually and hope that this isn’t it. This isn’t the long goodbye, if you will. But like, Asuka’s one of those people that I wouldn’t be who I am as a performer, as an athlete, if she wasn’t in my life. If she wasn’t on the opposite side of the ring. I don’t think I would have gotten anything really if I didn’t have that experience with her."

Issues of paternity have shaped our society for generations, especially in Zimbabwe. They did not start today. I remember going to a funeral with my father in the 1990s, and as we sat around the fire the men began sharing stories. One of them has stayed with me ever since. A Zimbabwean doctor had married a nurse, and they struggled to have children. As usual, when there is no child, the blame was placed on the woman. She went to see her own doctor, who told her plainly that she was not the problem, and advised her to bring her husband for testing. The husband refused, as many Zimbabwean men tend to do. Their marriage eventually collapsed, with the man insisting he could not be the problem because he had a child with another woman before marrying the nurse. That woman, he said, was also a doctor, and he was raising that child. After the divorce, the nurse remarried another doctor, and she immediately fell pregnant. Because it was a tight medical community, the whole situation became a talking point. The ex-husband had loudly declared that his former wife was barren, yet here she was having one child after another, three in total, with her new husband. Meanwhile, the ex-husband remarried, and again there were no children. One day the ex-husband and his former wife met at a gathering. During a casual conversation, as people who once knew each other, she told him directly that he was raising a child who was not his. She told him that he had no capacity to father a child and that if he finally went for tests, he would discover the truth. She reminded him how he had insulted her and her parents, and how he had refused to listen. The revelation shook him. He went for tests, and it was confirmed that he was the problem. He had spent seventeen years looking after a child who was not his. The moral of the story is simple, and I always stress this when mentoring young people. When in doubt, check. In fact, even without doubt, check. A DNA test at birth saves you from future heartbreak. Many men are raising children who are not theirs. Some women know exactly what they are doing. Others genuinely do not know because their relationships overlapped before they settled down. In those cases, even the woman cannot be sure who the father is. So when you have a child, get a DNA test. If you ask for one and a woman becomes defensive or resistant, that is a major red flag. At that point, the test is no longer optional, it is necessary. That is the reality of life today. As they say, trust is beautiful, but DNA is confirmation. In this life we live, hope is not a strategy when it comes to your children, so test your child and protect your future, as the saying goes. I have DNA stories that I could share for a whole year. If compulsory DNA testing was demanded of all of us today, you will be shocked by what will come out. This brother in the video is now going through denial. He has been told the truth, but he is still in shock, which is why he is asking for silly things from this woman. It is hard for any man to discover that the child he believed was his belongs to another man. That is why DNA testing is a necessity and why it should be compulsory.

Kennedy is trending because yesterday Asherkine took his girlfriend Becky, out and she denied him three shocking times. [Full Story] As Kenny is crashing out on Snapchat, her friends are calling him a ‘child’ and enemy of progress. Apparently, he’s the one sponsoring her. And they’ve been dating for 2yrs+. AsherKine went to UNN, Enugu and met Becky. As usual, asked if she had a boyfriend. She paused a little and said ‘No’. ‘No’, again, when Asher asked if she had ever dated anyone. He asked her the third time if she was sure, and for the third time in 20 seconds, Becky denied Ken. Interestingly according to Kennedy, she told him she was going to see her mom. But when she got back, she started giving him attitudes, attitudes he couldn’t fathom. Not until he saw the AsherKine video and his classmates started taunting him. Meanwhile according to Becky Chukwuma, she didn’t know how to tell him about it, and “it’s not that deep” he should “let it go.” Ken is saying, she had more than 24hrs to tell him about it. And not like he would have asked her not to go. Because it’s AsherKine and he doesn’t hate her. She also told Asher that she never dated anyone all her life, even though she is a 300L student. But according to Ken, she had 5 ex’s before him. The phone she’s using, he got it for her; But won’t be collecting it back because he doesn’t need it. Last night he broke up with her and blocked her. I used to say “ she made him with love” and I am partly still standing behind my words🙈 yet Yildiz didn’t create the good in him… she reminded him of it! Serhat always had that merciful, kind side inside him. We know that. I know that. And I will always be proud that I believed in that from the very beginning. I kept saying it before episode 14 even aired (Serhat left Urfa because of Yıldız.) Nobody took me seriously back then🌚… until the flashbacks proved it, and that’s one of the reasons episode 14 became one of my favorite episodes Because the truth is, even as a child, Yıldız was the person who shifted his entire life. Yes young Serhat chose to sacrifice himself for her but when he came back years later with that cold attitude, that mask he built to protect himself from being used by her and to protect her from a marriage she didn’t want as a child … she was the one who slowly brought him back to himself! Cuz she saw through him! She did that with love. With patience. With mercy. With care! She didn’t change him by forcing him. She reached the part of him that was always there the parts that no one saw but her… the parts that he hid from others. And I love that Serhat himself confirmed this in episode 27 when she told him what a good man he was, and he basically answered that her existence was the reason goodness could exist around her! The way I love Serhat is becoming unhealthy 😭 I miss them so much 🥹

Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explains… “I wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while I’m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. ….so I decided I’m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I don’t give him the part, then once I’m done with it and it gets out in the town, then it’s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, I’ve got the juice to get it through, and now I can’t take it back because I wouldn’t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, “Well, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but I’ve already given that to Robert Forster, and I’m a man of my word. I can’t take it back.” Now, De Niro is very much a man of his word, so he understands that. He gets that. And he’s just like, “Yeah, yeah. That’s just disappointing. It’s just regretful.” I go, “What?” “Well, just because, you know, you were thinking about him, so you wrote it for him. But if we had had more dinners and hung out a little bit more, then you would have been thinking about me and you would have written it for me. And I understand what happened, but that could have been changed if we had spent more time with each other before this.” And so he kind of gives me the – “just think about it for a couple of days, all right? - and then let’s talk again. Maybe Bob (Robert Foster) could play Louis, the other guy.” So then I actually have Bob read Louis with me, and then read Max. And if that could work, maybe that could work. But no, everything that made him perfect for Max made him wrong for Louis. And so I get on the phone with De Niro — and I go, “Yeah, you know, I explored that. But no, everything about him that makes him perfect for Max makes him wrong to play this ex-convict guy.” And he goes, “Yeah, yeah, I get that. I get that, I get that, I get that. Okay, so tell me about this Louis character.” And I go, “You would consider playing Louis?” “Yeah, it’s a good character. It’s a good movie. I wanna be part of it. It’s a good character. I wanted the other character, but yeah, this is a good character. I’d be happy to play it.” I go, “Well, you didn’t let me know that before.” He goes, “Well, I didn’t wanna let you off the hook. I wanted you on the hook. But now if that ship has sailed, then let’s talk about Louis.” And then it was a done deal.”

This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.
