Rich hits on something I’ve discussed a few times here. The call for a Constitutional Convention. Effectively, they want to reimagine the U.S. constitution. Now Rich is right, currently Republicans have 27 states signed on and if they can get to 34, they can then begin the process of rewriting the constitution. While they would not be able to get is the 38 states required to ratify any changes, what I’m trying to impress upon people is, THIS IS THEIR GOAL. If they ever get there truly is game over. This blatant power grab shows just how far they will go to try to suppress votes. In Congress, I fought to expand voting rights and protect our democracy.
